Any info on this character?

I found this fellow on an ebay auction and I thought he looked pretty funky, but I don't know anything about the character or his potential appearance in the cartoon. The figure's only a prototype, but his name seems to be Lockdown.

Go to transformersanimated.com. It has all the character bio's and info on the series.
Its a total kickass figure to boot. But I'd wait til the general release and save the money.

I really like the whole toyline.
The fact that the toys look exactly like the cartoon really are the kicker for me.
The cartoon is pretty cool too. It takes a little warming up to, especially if your a G1ner like myself that has seen so many different incarnations of the TF's.
I definatley plan to get as many of these bad boys as I can.
