I got one today but I noticed that the armor(feet, hands, head etc) Is gray intead of silver like most I see. Is this just a varient?

It is not silver.
It is a "silverish grey" (I am looking at mine right now)

It has a sort of "sliverish" in this pix due to the flash.

I thought that but I looked at pics everywhere, ebay, tfu. Mine are flat dull gray.

There may be a difference. There are silver & gray parts. You can see the variations of every Bruticus here:
