Stsausser has found out some interesing information about a new movie exclusive that will be available in Japan.

According to source Mei Morishita's blog, the Winter Wonder Festival 2008 takes place on February 24th and this exclusive toy will be made available for purchase at the TakaraTomy booth. There are going to be a limited number of pieces and price is still TBD.

Wow, the colors are pretty much the same as G1. Would love to see the Robot Mode.

I wonder if at some point I could might snag one off eBay.

Why do I get the feeling Skowl is going to love this.

Well, they will be hard to come by.

The last Winter Wonderfest Item...Diecast Nemesis Convoy...was quite pricey and hard to come by. I believe the Dai Atlas PVC was another from the summer Wonderfest, and it is a little more readily available.

Its nice. Weird seeing as they never MADE a G1 Arcee, but nice.

No way I'd pay any kind of serious money for it. I'll leave that for the Japanese.

I feel that the scout class and deluxe class motorcycle molds are just turds. If this was any other deluxe figure in G1 colors I would be all over it.

Hell i want a red Ironhide so we should encourage them. Unless your thinking by not encouraging them we'll get it then we should do that.

I'll have a friend in the Tokyo area around then.. might have to see if they can snag me one. Odds are it'll be pricy though..

Though I still I love her original movie colour scheme best, this paint deco looks fabulous! Can't wait for some robot mode pics!

I hope all this recent Arcee merchandise is in response to the fans' collective (for the most part anyway) love of the character. If they keep repainting and re-releasing her, as opposed to the other non-movie TFs like Wreckage, it's a sign that the character is popular and sells well, and hopefully that will convince the powers-that-be over at Dreamworks and Hasbro to let her grace the screen in Transformers 2.

Makes me kinda wish I had waited to get this G1 type Arcee.

I love the G1-style repaints. Hopefully this one will make it outside of Japan, maybe as another convention exclusive or something.

The pastel colours look quite good on the movie Arcee mould.

I'd like to see some bot mode pics though.

Personally, I'd much rather see new molds of Ironhide and Ratchet in the next Classics wave. We got two Seekers in the first wave not counting the 'Conehead' (Would of a prefered a Thundercracker repaint to Ramjet, but meh), so why not give the two characters who have never had a decent toy in their lifespans a decent recognition with practically the most posable, G1-accurate series of figures yet?

And I never much cared for Arcee, so meh.

How do I get one?

I like exclusives and the colors on this look pretty good.
But I am not that excited about the robot mold.
