Why is the matrix cover systematically put in the wrong way? Every pics I see of him use the front plate side of the truck instead of the Matrix cover side. Why?

And when I say every pics, I just don't mean here at seibertron, but every damn pics of him available on Internet. Also, you make the same mistake for the original 20Th anniversary.

Ryan, is it my screen or is Optimus Prime' cab more orange than the other MP Prime versions?

Orange orange orange orange ORANGE!

It's not your monitor, I don't think. I'm not sure why it is, it's just coming out orange.

It reminds me of when Ryan first made his black background and took some test shots of Polar Claw using both backgrounds. In the white background Polar Claw took this pinkish color and bled into the background. Not sure if it's the same thing that's going on here; that's just what this orange Optimus reminds me of.

I bought out this one on bbts when it was on 45% sale, i got it for 44.99$ pretty nice price since i dont have money for a MP-04 Convoy ... or MP-01 if you want ...

Well i should get it next week so ... hehe =) ordering ...

I am very glad too see some picks of this figure! Finally!
The only things i dislike with it is:

1:There is a picture of Megatron on the Left communicator.
2: The BLUE gun ...
3: The eyes have a nice shape of color but they seem too be painted on ...
4: A little too orange, but better than nothing when you dont have cash for MP !

8) Thank you Seibertron !

In the third thing you said you dislike about it...what is a "shape of color"????? :-?

If I have any left over money from my B-Day party after buying the toys i'm looking for, I may get this, there is a 40% chance i'll get it. I just don't like the shade of orange they use instead of red, it looks retarded on Optimus Prime.

Nice gallery, shame about the figure. I really hate what they did to this awesome figure (the original Takara and Hasbro ones are both great) but this repaint is just sloppy. As for the orange thing, he's not so much orange as a bright red, this combined with the white background and possible aperture/flash make it look more orange than it is in reality. Anyway, if it's the only way to get a hold of an MP prime it's better than a kick in the bollocks:)

You guys may throw me to the dogs for saying this but I prefer DVD OP's paint job over my MP-1's paint job. I think if they were going for the look of OP in the movie, they did a pretty good job of matching his color to that in the cartoons/DVD.

I think most of the figures have it both ways in the galleries I've posted. The problem is Takara does pictures of it with the screws facing out and Hasbro does it with the screws facing in. I prefer it with the screws facing in like Hasbro's pictures ... I don't like seeing 2 screws through his windshield.

Oddly enough, that's how Hasbro even packaged their last version. Observe ...

And for the pics on the box ...

This is certainly one of those times where I prefer how Hasbro has it instead of Takara.

That's because this version of Prime is more of an orangish color. Check out these comparison pictures ...

The figure might be a shade too orangish, but I think they accomplished what they were trying to do ... come up with a version of Masterpiece Convoy that looked like his animiated counterpart. While it's not my favorite version (MP-4 is), I still think it's pretty damn cool. If you own MP-4, I would get the DVD version instead of MP-1 just because it's so different from the other versions.

Awsome gallery Ryan! This is the only version of the figure I own and I love it. It is one of my favorite figures in my entire collection. Also I kind of like the base it comes with.

Holy Moley Ryan! You're on a roll with these galleries! Geez, I think you deserve a job well done, and take a break for yourself while you're at it! Great job on all these MP galleries and the Giant Planet galleries you put up. Love that MP5 Megatron!

Thanks for the compliments. I've been busting my butt trying to get caught up to where I need to be. I've been trying to get the galleries to the point where I can proudly say that I have averaged one gallery per day since January 4th, 2004, when I first launched the galleries. The key word there is "averaged" because there are certainly days when I don't launch galleries. Here's my little reminder that I use to keep track of where I am and where I need to be to reach my goal. I'm catching up ... wait until you guys see what happens over the course of the next week. Heh heh!
