All depends on what they're making you do to earn him...

The metal Re-issue kicks @ss! However, it costs a lot. It's the biggest Gestalt and can easily kick any other X-former's arse!
If you don't want to spend that much flo, you may want to try the KO. They seem reasonably priced, but I do not have one and do not know the quality of the plastic. Also, there are G1 (metal and plastic) out there on eBay, that you may be able to get relatively cheap.

Have the reissue and KO and they are both excellent. KO colours sufficiently differnt to pass as different characters thereby bulking up your Decepticon ranks.
Love the white colour scheme on Rampage. Actually the KO colour scheme on all 5 is better than the originals. Even have metallic faces.

It really is worth every penny that you will spend. It is about as heavy as mp 01 optimus prime in predking mode. It is pretty well built and his design in predking mode is amazing he looks like he could kick any transformers ass no matter who he or she is.

He's certainly cool. He isn't high on my list of favorites though. The reissue, having die-cast parts is heavy and therefore the arms on mine are precariously balanced in their pegs. If you have the choice for the plastic or die-cast versions, I'd suggest plastic. That's simply my opinion though. The reissue set IS very nice. The balance things bugs me is all.

Bought this bad boy for Christmas 05 - expensive, but a must-have IMO. I´ve wanted PK from the moment I first saw him in the catalogs.

The G1 Predacons are some of the best Transformers in my opinion. Predaking is an insanely cool combiner. The metal reissue? The only way to make perfection even better.

I wonder why the Predacons weren't released as the Predacon gestalt in BW II or Neo or whatever, the series that had God Neptune. I'd think that five jungle animals would have fit slightly better than five mutant sea creatures.

Rare to hear some one speaking up in favour of KOs - a welcome change! Forgive my ignorance, but do the KO Predacons have all the combiner bits to form Predaking as well?

they have all the combiner parts yes and some of the parts are even cast in transparent blue plastic.
Personally i dont like the colous of the knockoff - too much white for my tastes
