Sorry if anyone else has listed this, but I was just browsing around BigBadToyStore, and I found what appear to be the first shots of Trans-Scanning Bumblebee, and another image of Trans-Scanning Optimus Prime.

Those are interesting. They're like transformers thac can be "transformed" into other transformers.

From what I can tell though there is no transforming. The Protoform doesn't actually fit inside the alt mode. The alt mode is a shell that you take apart and put on the protoform as armor. I could be wrong but thats the way it looks.

Yes, i know that. That's why i said "transform", not just transform. Because it itn's much of a transformation, rather a partsformation. lol.
