Brought Swerve to my GF's house so I could take some more pictures with my other Transformers.

First, the movie cars.

Seeing that like the movie cars, Swerve also changes into a "real" vehicle, the Aveo fits with the line.




Deluxe JAzz is still too big in scale. A Pontiac Solstice is roughly the size of a Mazda Miata, or, a bit smaller than the Aveo sedan.






While the scale is still a bit off, Swerve looks better paired with Barricade.







In robot mode, we then see the difference in the designs. Swerve is less cluttered, and more solid-looking.


Also notice the difference in body proportion. Jazz and Barricade have shorter torsos. Swerve looks more humanoid.







Now, a comparison with Classics Prime.

Like the other classics cars, Swerve is also too big. He's also too realistic.




In robot mode, he fits better. Except for that headsculpt.



Swerve: Please, Classics Prime! Can I join your line?
Prime: I'm sorry. You may look solid, but you're not just blocky enough.


Swerve: But I'm from the "Universe" line, and Classics 2.0 will come back as Universe, right? Hell, it's even rumored that I'll be released mainstream as part of Universe!
Prime: Okay, tell you what, when that happens, come back and we'll talk...

wish you had some alternators for comparison. especially Rumble would fit.

what's the scale on Swerve anyway?

I love that Swerve! I really hope it comes out as a Classics, but I'm guessing that will make those who paid out the nose for it quite unhappy. If it does, any ideas if it will be the same color, head mold, etc.?

eh? i thought all alternators are 1/24? this toy, i'm guessing is around 1/35.
