MP Starscream was only in stores at(at least in my area) for about 2 months, and I figured I'd pick him up after Christmas. Then we all suffered the Chirstmas drought, hey fine. I got more optimistic(no pun intended) when he showed up online and people reported seeing him for only $30. I waited and waited, but no restocks of him. Now he's sold out online, so will stores get any more or am I S.O.L?

I'm in that same SOL boat as you, pal.

He was only shipping to one Wal-mart near me, and I started calling before black Friday. I called every few days and was told the same thing: "We have 12 in stock but they are not on the sales floor", untill I called two days later and was told, "We no longer have that item in stock." So either they all sold from Monday afternoon to Thursday morning, or they never had them at all.

One of my friends works at a different Wal-Mart, and they had the same thing happen. 12, a.k.a 4 cases came in, sat for a week, then disappeared out of the computer and out of the store. They never even hit the sales floor.

I've finally come to accept the loss, and am putting that money towards Classics 2.0/Universe. I'll get him someday, I'm just not willing to spend double the retail price to buy him and pay to get him shipped to me right now.

Unless some fine Seibertonian who picked up an extra of him at 30 bucks on clearance is willing to sell it to me for 55 bucks shipped :PRAY:

The hopes for a G1 accurate SS have been dashed. Do yourself the favor as I plan to, save the extra scraps, and get the TAKARA version, which is probably superior anyway.

I hate to use the e-word, but I got mine on eBay for $67 shipped, one of the cheapest prices I saw in mid-Dec. Shop around there, you may not pay as much as you'd think.

FWIW I prob. spent $30 in gas driving all over creation for weeks looking for him in-store. Good luck, I hope you can find him.

You can preorder the TAKARA G1 version for about 20 bucks more. Thats worth it. But not at BBTS.ocm, that place is pricey.

Either way, this whole MP SS mess has made me appreciate line that sell in multiple stores like Classics2.0/Univers and Animated that much more. If one place doesn't get it, the others will!

Be this a lesson for bargain hunters that if you see a figure, you should pick it up, might be the only other time you see it again at retail price.

Sometimes you can get lucky and see something sell on clearance but this year has proved that the shelves definately can get wiped out, on exclusives they rarely get restocked.

Sorry for your loss but some good advice on how to go about continuing your search.

Paid $50 for mine as soon as he showed up locally and never turned back. Glad I did too he was gone within the week.

Hey sorry to hear you all didn’t get one...I could see them selling out in just a few hours...I picked up 4 myself...no I am not a scalper I picked the extras up for people that I know on here. We in the Michigan Thread look out for each other...I guess try to use all the resources you can...I always use the people here...Made some great friends from it.

Oh, believe me, I tried. I posted here, told my relatives - all the usual stuff. I never say the last 2 Alternators that were Wal-Mart exclusives either (Jaguar/Ravage and Rumble). I liked Skywarp a little better anyway, so I'll save my pennies and eventually order him from Japan hopefully....

I have 3 Wal-Marts in my region and I have yet to see MP Starscream. I am not upset at all because than I will have more money for other things.

I saw at least 20 MP SS at my Wally World There was at least 1 for a few weeks but now I haven't seen a single one
luckily I had money the first time I saw him and snatched him up

I checked all three of my local WalMarts obsessively. Told relatives and friends. Nothing. He never showed. Hasbro apparently hates the 'Sip. Ah well, someday, MP Starscream, someday you shall grovel at MP Megatron's feet as intended!

Hi I worked at a Wal-mart for the holidays and they put the MPSS on risers all over the store from hardware to above the purses and the telezons that they use for inventory don't always have the exclusives in them so if you are looking for something around holiday time and you call and they say they don't have it look anyway and look everywhere in the store. we got eight cases and I didn't even know it until I found them in hardware with other toys stuck in front of them. I bought one but that was it.

Canada may still get him but I think hasbro spins a wheel to decide if that happens or not.

I snagged one last Friday at Walmart. I was just there for some OJ and he was sitting on the shelf. Almost passed him up but hadn't bought me a TF in a while (read: a week). Twist ties all there and the stickers look legit.

Don't get too hopeful but sometimes miracles happen. When life gives you lemons, return that movie megatron right away.

Meh, I got min on evilbay for little more than I would have paid had he ever actully come out in the UK. So I for one am happy.

Actully, judging by the price of the DVD edition 20th Prime, I suspect I got him for a lot cheaper than I would have had to pay if he ever came out here.

Every Wal-Mart exclusive as of late, I've never even seen in stores! Alt Rumble and Ravage, Classics Devastator, MP Starscream...never even saw one of those in stores!

I...hate Wal-Mart.
