First Look at Transformers Movie Chess and Risk Games

Back in November we reported that Sota Toys would be producing a Transformers Chess set based on G1. The in February we reported there would be a Transformers Monopoly game. Now we have received an email from Tigerhawk informing us of two new board games based on the Transformers Movie listed on Barnes and Noble's website. The first is a listing for another chess set based on the Transformers Movie. You can view the listing here. Here are some images of the set:

1)Ironhide and Starscream are the QUEENS.lol...
2)Brawl is missing from here too...
I am starting to think Brawl is a sector 7 cronie and then turns on them and joins the Decepticons. I remember hearing something about someone being a traitor in the script or something.

The pieces in the chess set are nice, however the board leaves a lot to be desired.

that looks to be of better quality than the G1 chess set they showed us. I think it looks good.

The chess set is nothing like I was expecting. I was thinking more along the lines of what the LOTR chess set looked like, with the nic wooden case to keep all the figures in. This thing looks like it'll be on the clearance aisle at Wal-Mart in no time for like $6.

I have to admit I was expecting the chess set to be nostalgia market/Floro Dery animation model-based rather than movie-based. Oh well. I wasn't going to buy it anyway. The Monopoly, however, shall be mine. Oh yes.

like the chess set very well the board could use some touch ups but i will be getting this set one day risk transformers getting carryied away i never like the game of riskprobally to much reading involved and no one to teeach the rules how to play the game risk be interesting how the board and pieces turn out for that game as well.

iam guessing they are going to make a CLUE:TF movie version. it starts out with "WHO TOOK OPTIMUS PRIME GOODYEAR TIRE?" ONLY YOU CAN SOLVE THE MYSTERY!!!
