Pascal of the Cybertron.ca boards has posted up a mini review and images of Transformers: Animated Voyager class figures Megatron and Bulkhead.

The Images show both figures in both modes, from multiple angles, with some nice close-ups.

sigh. Megatron and Bulkhead's size are NOT working for me. I'm getting their leader class versions.

Meg's Alt mode looks kinda goofy. I look at it and dont see any form of jet.

The robot modes for both are great. I like Bulkhead all around.

Did they design the figs first or the cartoon?

Jeez, and we thought the scale in the movie line was **** up?

well not that great, i could pass on all but BB and starscream

I’m liking Bulkhead the more I see of him. Megatron on the other hand looks okay, but clearly has problems.

I see how Bulkhead is in scale with the other Autobots in alt mode...
But why not make him even bigger so he's not so small in bot mode????

I seriously don't get it.

However, I'm digging all of these figures, and will get most of them.

I started reading the review a little closer and did anyone else catch the elements of Automorph? With this in mind it makes me wonder if the people who jumped to how great Animated would be because there was no gimmick that stretched through the entire line may have something else coming to them.

Yeah, Meg's cannon is just too big. If I get him and Bulkhead, it will just be to keep MISB so I can say that I have them, and so if I want them at some point in the future I don't regret not getting them. But these versions of these characters really aren't doing a whole lot for me right now.

Its disappointing, too, cause I was looking forward to Voyager Cybertron Megs.

Two words:

GIMME NOW!

Megatron looks like a giant phallic symbol. Particularly that first top view in vehicle mode.

Excuse me but do you have these figs because if you don't you can't say these figs have problems. hopefully Hasbro will be smart enough to make an Ultimate Megs like how they're making the Ultimate Optimus Prime, because these sizes are bugging the hell out of me

He never said anything about them having problems, he just stated that he didn’t like how Megatron’s gun looked or Bulkhead.

I am not a fan of guns the size fo the figure. While I would love to have a Megs that looks like that, the gun it'self is killing my interest in it.

Now I always wanted a big hulking brute to get decimated by Cyb Metroplex. And other than being a really fat, really tiny midgit-former, I may get him afterall.

yeah there's some obvious drawbacks to these toys. It would be nice if they'd used clear plastic on Bulkhead's lightbar, and Megatron's alt mode is a bit iffy.

All things considered, I still think they'll be worth getting.

I just hope you can detach that big fukkin' gun

Megatron's alt mode looks like a hi-tech paper weight and everytine I see Bulkhead's alt mode I feel like throwing him at someone's head.

So glad that I made the decision to pass on most, (note I said most) of the Animated toys save for Prowl and Soundwave, oh and since I'm a sucker for Jazz, him too, if they make an animated Jazz figure.

That link is intresting. Realy I hope I'm wrong for fans of this series, but I don't think it's to acurate.

June is gonna be here before you know it, and I think if there where aditional figures for these characters that the information, prototype pics, or what have you would have been leaked by now.

Think about it, we started getting Animated images a year befor the expected product release date. With TF2 still(although shaky) set for 2009. Hasbro would have let out spoilers by now, or at least some one looking to both quit and burn them at the same time would have.

So again, I hope your right for people who'd be intrested, but I think you're betting on a typo.
