If you could ask hasbro to continue one toy line after the movie

For me it would be for them to continue the classics line of toys. But I wonder what other people would like to see continued after the movie line is done.

I think the Classic line is a no-brainer. Besides being untethered by a current run show, there is a vast variety of figures to draw from.

Although I'd like to see many G1 characters given the Classic treatment, the Classics could conveivably continue as a "best of" line, branching out into Beast Wars and others. Very much like the 3oth Anniversary Star Wars line.

would love to see the classics line also absorb the Universe ideas and do some characters that are uncommon. That way you can intermix them with better sellers so you don't have alot sitting on the shelf.

Like, ZOMG, continue Armada!!!!111!!1

I see this becoming more of a poorly disguised Classics continuation thread. What would that make this one, #1,473,302? Or did I miss a couple hundred due to the board crashes?

It's acctually in the two million range... board crash  Classics would be a no brainer I would think. The cries of pain in the Botcon Exclusive thread spell it out as well.

I dunno, I love the Classics line, but I have all of the Alternators as well. The collector side likes the Alternators for the great transformations, but the cheapskate in me likes the Classic line for the $10 ish price range, for deluxes.

Of course, 2 decent deluxes cost as much as one good Alt, so, uh, yeah :BLACKEYE: .

I'll still take Alternators.

Yes Regis, Alternators is my final answer ;)^ !

I have all the classics and I'm working on the commemoratives. I showed up late (like last month...lol)on the commemoratives so its turning out to be pricey. :(

RIGHT ON!!!

That line never had a show, as far as I know. I remember picking up the Starscream and Soundwave at Toy Liquidators and wondering what the hell they were and why I didn't find them anywhere else.
If they updated them that would be great.

I love alternators as well but the problem that I have with them is that alot of car companys are now owned by german auto manufacters so it leaves a very small sellection of cars that can be used for alternators. Plus some italy car manufacters have deals with roadbots so I don't know were that leaves the alternators.

I would really love to see Classics continue. Alternators was cool, but they were, and still are, a pain in the arse to transform! Classics has nice sculpts in both modes, decent articulation, and simple, yet fun, transformations. For me, it's the best TF line since G1, and it's not just because it is a redux of G1 (see the reasons I just mentioned, if you missed them 8) ).

Alternators, all the way. We need to see more like Mirage, and maybe Volkswagen'll finally wisen up after the movie.

Lately I've been collecting the 6" Titaniums because of the War Within molds. Cool stuff there but they don't stay together very well. My vote is for the Classics line- I want to see them create ALL of the Seekers jets this time. Every time they do a new line they only produce 3 or 4 of them. With that said all they need to produce now is Thundercracker (as a repaint), Sunstorm (again as a repaint), Dirge and Thrust.

For me it's between classics and alternators. Classics got me collecting again, and I like having a transformation that doesn't take 5 minutes to do. But alternators are just so cool. I think I'd have to go with classics.

They are producing those for the 2007 Botcon exclusive.

I really like the alternators line but there are some molds I thought looked too ugly to bother with and then there were others that looked so great I bought the repaints/slight remolds of other characters. As long as they continue to produce good looking, high quality molds they get my vote. I'd also like to see them expand outside the car realm as well. I think that's why there have been so few decepticons. I don't feel all the decepticons would translate well to cars. I think Shockblast was excellent though, he managed to retain a lot of his G1 Shockwave look in bot mode which says a lot considering he is mainly a Meister/Jazz repaint.

The classics line got me collecting again and while I hope it continues, the figures I want are going to be Botcon exclusives. I did the math when I first found out about it and I think they were going to come to about $6o-65 a bot which is ridiculous. There maybe a few others I'd like to see down the road but for the most part the complete seekers set was what I had been waiting on.

I like everyone's thinking here. I just completed the Machine Wars line thanks to ebay and the people willing to sell the figures. Got every figure MISB and the line is definitely very cool. Since Hasbro probably won't do Machine Wars I vote for them continuing the Classics line. (As he ducks while everyone throws stuff at him.)
