Deluxe Prowl actually scaled accurately

In "Total Meltdown" Prowl is seen making fun of BB because he is too short, and prowl towers over BB. Prowl's toy also is taller than BB.

Here's a guide of the Autobot Figures that are in Scale:

Deluxes:
BB
Prowl
Ratchet??

Voyagers:
Prime

Leaders: Bulkhead (How awesome his chair mode is!!)

Intresting, the BB toy is pretty tall, so I would figure a cycle bot to be smaller in actuality than a car bot. If Prowl is indeed taller, I wonder if that scale applies to the alt mode as well.

Got pics or links?

Good point ... so in bot mode the deluxes are to scale, but not in alt mode.

I'd been hoping the scout class 'activator' version of Prowl would be to scale, but now that I think about it, it'll probably only be to scale in cycle mode.

OK...

The size factors that you show in that video, well they are impressive.

I had no idea that some of the animated toys would be as large as you've shown. I'm impressd with that.

However when you're compairing one line to another, a word to the wise, SPECIFY!!!

There are many Primes , Ratchets, Prowls and so on...

Not specifing which line names your mentioning will lead to confusion, as your video is mixing 2 lines.

So seeming as your cycle is being compaired to a car from another line that would still have an alt twice as large as the car counterpart from that line...

I say this is enjoyably misleading. Granted they all are Transformers, it still doesn't change the fact that each line is sadly it's own entity. Cross referencing is a null point when bringing fact to scale.

Crap! Man, I KNEW Lockdown was taller than just about every deluxe-sized figure ever made, and is, in fact, comparable to a voyager-sized figure, but, dang, he's taller than Movie Ratchet!

I don't know about ya'll, but when Movie Ratchet is right in front of me in bot mode, he just "feels" like a *massive* figure. He's tall *and* bulky, and really rather intimidating for an Autobot, and a "doctor" no less. So to see that Lockdown is *taller* than Movie Ratchet, just really blew my mind.

Many people, myself included, have complained that voyager Bulkhead seems too small, but now I'm wondering if Animated Ratchet will look too small, too. I mean, if Movie Ratchet and Lockdown look appropriately scaled in vehicle modes, and yet Lockdown is still taller in robot mode (which is appropriate given Lockdown's height in Animated), then how will deluxe-sized Animated Ratchet look in vehicle mode next to Lockdown in vehicle mode? Ratchet will probably look too small. :|

Ah well, guess I can't get TOO hung up on scale issues.
