I just got him for the 1st time (omg yay lol) and i knew his cassette deck wouldnt work, but is there any known way of fixing them? Also do the cassettes (stteljaw rewind etc) actually fit inside him?

You can "fix" him by opening him up and resetting the mechanism.

So, it'll work once after that, then stop again. The issue is really a design flaw.

I believe the reissue Blaster corrects the problem though.

Yep, ive seen them on the net, but they are alwys sold out (i suppose the toy being nearly 2 years old dont help that lol). Are the reissue's and the origionals identical?? I assume they are, but i know the reissue come with steeljaw, just wondering about any other slight tweaks

You could always go with the e-hobby repaint (twincast)

I pulled my Blaster apart not knowing what to expect and fixed him in 15 minutes. Now I know what I'm fixing probably only take me 3 minutes. Its not that hard take your time and keep track of all the pieces.
