which normal size transformer would you like them to make
into a minicon?
Metroplex, Unicron, Primus, Scorpinok, Alpha Q,
the list goes on & on for me....

honestly? the Targetmasters. Would love to see that concept redone but with today's tech to make them a bit more posable and still look like a functional weapon. With standard peg sizes should fit with many of the different TFs that come out nowadays.

A lot of the minicons pretty much ARE targetmasters, 'cept they don't have a hand peg.
Hrms... some enterprising repro parts type person could probably make decent bucks by repro'ing a part with a minicon port on one side, and a standard 5mm peg on the other...
Anyway, a "minicon" of existing characters would pretty much be WST's. And they already did the ones I want.

well the concept of the minicons adding onto larger bots is there, but none really are weapons aside from the Requiem blaster, the Starsaber, and the Shield (cool concepts BTW)
What would be great is a Minicon that is fairly posable (knees and elbows is possible) that turns into some sort of weapon or armor. The peg system could accomidate for older figures and new to support the line.
Even with some ingenuity you can see them do some combining ala Perceptor from armada.
You could pack them 2 or 3 to a blister depending on price point they wanted to match. So you could sell accessories that aren't exactly useless without its companion bot.
Its genious I tell you.

the minicons that can be used in standard peg holes are great! I love the fact that TM Megaton and G1 soundwave can hold these things too.
In japan the air military and emergency teams were remolded so they could all be held in standard peg holes.
I agree that minicon targetmasters that turned directly into weapons would be awesome but Im not sure how you would pull off armour. Very few transformershave minicon pegs in the same place and it would be dificult to have generic armour pieces that any tf could use.

Unless they make new breastmasters (hur hur hur). Seriously though I could see it being done, but only as part of a line made for that specific gimic and not as a addition for existing TFs.

from now on they should make as many Transformers
as they can to grab a hold of a minicon peg!
And they need to say it on the box!
I have no idea which guys are compatible!
I had no clue that G1 soundwave could do that!!!!!!!!!!

I think its definatly justluck and not design, like how RID prime and optimal optimus have minicon sized ports on them entirely by accident.

yeah armor peices would likely need to be a gimic for a new line to have the proper peg placements, but some older figures may get lucky.
Could even have the mini cons be devices such as communications gear, or other tools.
You'd think they would want to blend into the TF's world more than just be mini vehicles.

I always thought that their transformations were kind lame, they couldnt blend in anywhere except in a model village-but robots in discuse robots in discuse would be a great idea, like a blaster for blaster! there is real potential in that idea for a comic, but i doubt it would sell as a toy to the youth audience, and they are a major concern for hasbro

Since they're doing beast minicons now, I would like them to redo some of the classic beastformers, and have more Classics 3-packs with some Insecticons, Predacons and Seacons, and maybe make it so that the Predacons and Seacons can merge together.
The two Perceptor groups were pretty cool, I'm sure they could pull off something cool if they did mini-Predacons or mini-Seacons!

I'm in agreement with the Targetmasters... I'd like to see the originals redone as minicons, partnered with classics versions of their TF partner (We've already got Hot Rod, a Firebolt minicon would rock my friggin socks!)

In Soundwave's case it's part of his heritage as a Microman toy, as pegs and ports the size of the ones on Soundwave were a standardized part of the line. Blaster also has the same sized pegs and ports.

and attach that to a minicon jet fighter's
port that is underneath and make it heavily armed...
hmmmmm.... gotta love minicons!!!
