With the annoucnement of the new version of triple-changer Octan/Tankor, I was wondering about the probability of a new version of triple changer Springer.

Any ideas?

seems like an obvious candidate for an update, sooner or later. There was a classics Springer convention exclusive repaint last year, but such things shouldn't really count.

Primus I'd love a Classics Springer, I was intending to use Energon Bulkhead for him but I'd rather have a triple changing classics Springer.

I'd love one. Bulkhead's too big. Springer is a figure who should actually be a deluxe.

They did make Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus and Galvatron and they are all from the movie, don't see why they wouldn't make a Springer. It's pure logic to me, also an Arcee that was G1 accurate would make my day.

I came in here hoping to see a new Springer toy announcement or something.

Yeah me three. Although I{d much rather see a Sandstorm Triple changing figure.

I wouldn't be suprized if in Classics 3, which I hope we get he'd be a front runner.

They seem to want to include the triplechangers, so why not?

Won't happen because springer was done for last year botcon. So they won't do another one so close to that release. I don't know why but I'm sure someone on here can clear that up.

Hasbro did say at BotCon that, between Animated and Universe, they wanted to redo all the triple-changers. We have Classics Astrotrain, Animated Blitzwing, and Universe Octane/Tankor. That leaves Springer, Sandstorm, and Broadside for the "main" triplechangers. I hope Broadside is an Ultra and the others are deluxes.

A triple changing Springer is possible in the future since it would be a new figure from the exclusive. But true may be a while for him.

I'm holding out hope for a Kup at some point.

I hope they have plans for Six Shot.

Yeah but that was just a repaint. It had no third mode.

I've been crossing my fingers on this one, but I agree that a triple-changer Springer in the Classics line is unlikey because of the BotCon figure. I'm hoping for an Animated version and a G1 reissue.

Why? What does one have to do with the other? It's not the same mold. All they share is the name. There's an Optimus Prime exclusive figure in this year's botcon set, as well as a Bumblebee, a Grimlock, and a Starscream, yet they're all getting figures in the Animated toy line. So why can't a character who had a figure in last year's set get a new figure in this year's Universe line?

I'm sure Springer can be made in Universe, I bet even Thundercracker, Dirge and Thrust can be made in Universe. If not then Hasbro's dumb as hell for letting them be Botcon exclusives as tons more people would have bought them had they gone Classics.

It just the way it works I don't total understand how but if a figure is brought out as a botcon exclusive it won't get a released into a main stream line. But if a figure is released in a main stream line it can then be turned into a botcon exclusive which makes no sense to me either. I'm sure that someone who attends botcon on regular bases and has contact with the hasbro people at these events can tell you more than I can.

the idea of a classics sixshot screams of pure win..

if they decided to and somehow actually pulled that off, I'd buy like 10..just kidding, but definately more than one.

I wish hasbro would release one. The Decepticons already have two, teh Autobots need one of their own.

no, no, no lol. i would much rather have a new sandstorm, and a blitzwing that acutally looks like him, i hate springer so so much. However, my opinion on his toy is biased lol. I would like a new Kup though

Yeah, a new Springer would be totally awesome, or Kup.
