Energon Shockblast:
Is his waist supposed to lock into place? Because mine doesn't he doesn't fold in half or anything but I'd like if it his waist snapped into the top of his lower half.


Classics Rodimus:
If I were to buy a G1 Rodimus Prime gun would he be able to hold it? I hate his current gun and I tried Tit Rod Prime's gun but it was too small for his hand.

As a matter of fact he doesn't. His waist just sits there. although the joint should be tight enough to hold it in place.


As for Rodimus, no, the peg in G1 Rodimus's gun is also to small for the hole in Classics fists.

For a Good fit, you can try Classics Jetfire's gun, Energon Rodimus's gun.

Mine is holding Classics Deluxe Prime's gun, and looks pretty good with it.

Another question.

Can Classics Hot Rod hold the minicon Prowl from Armada in his gun mode? If so I'm thinking of getting one so I can make him a target master, as well as a few others in my TF collection.
For the love of Primus please say he CAN hold him.

Well, if the hand holes on Rodimus are the same as Ramjet, then yes,
yes he can hold the minicon. He should also be able to hold weapons
like Powermaster Prime's big guns. Lots of firepower out there
for your Classics, you just have to find the right ones.

Sorry to tell you but Prowl's peg is .5 millileters wide and Hot Rod's hand is .4 millimeters wide.

If you trim a little bit off of Prowl's peg then he would fit, but otherwise your plans won't work.

I found that a good fit for Classics Rodimus is Targetmaster Hot Rod's guns.

Yeah but it doesn't seem like he can. His gun handle is tiny as hell . I was hoping to have him and his partner be able to both be in vehicle mode then him be able to wield his gun mode but it doesn't seem like he'd be able to.

Yeah but I prefer to keep the guns realistic, plus you know what they say. "Big things come in small packages".

That really sucks that the Classics line figs don't all have the same size hand pegs. Ramjet holds Minicon Prowl just fine, but I just
tried with Grimlock and Grim's hand pegs are to small.
Well, I never bothered with any of the Autobots in that line,
actually just got Grimlock today and he was won as part of a lot on ebay.
Why would they design them to not at least be able to hold the weapons
throughout that line?

because Hasbro doesn't have a brain. Then again the minicons were all designed by takara and the classics line was created by Hasbro, maybe that has something to do with it. I just really wanted Hot Rod to be a Target master.

Get yourself a piece of sandpaper and roll the peg around on it.

Just remember to take it easy and constantly check so you don't over-do it.

I never knew that some of the Classics did not have the standard peg sized hands.

That's weak...

Noticeably Mirage and Grimlock have different sized peg holes.

Although I'm surprised Rodimus can't hold Prowl, I'll have to check that when I get home.

They should ALL have the same size holes so they can use each others guns. Making the holes different sizes is a very limiting thing.

Actually its a very recent thing. R.I.D. A/E/C all shared the standard sized peg hole. It was only recently with Classics and the movie that they started to modify this.

I'm betting animated will have varying peg holes if they have any. Seems most of the animated cast except for Prime has open hands instead of fists now.

I would have thought he could hold g1 hot rod's targetmaster partner as well.
