Free Transformers come to those who have patience.

Ok, so this weekend I've been helping some friends move out of their apartment and into a couple of other apartments.

Well, today while helping my friend Chris move, he asks if I want any of his Transformers for helping him out. He said he was trying to consolidate down stuff he has, and since he hasn't used them in ages, and hasno place to display him, he passed them on to me.

So this is what I came home with.

RID Prime
RID Magnus
RID Sideburn
RID Megatron
RID Mirage(spychanger)
RID Ironhide
RID Hot Shot
RID Crosswise
RID R.E.V.
RID W.A.R.S.

They're all loose, but aside from the Spychangers, are 100% complete.

Hah, biggest haul I've had in ages, and I didn't pay a damned cent.

I. Rock.

Nah, never had RID Prime, so I'll be hanging onto these guys for awhile.

Good Stuff!

See my friends suck! They always tell me about their stuff in their parents attick, and even when I offer them money, they just say no.

Worst part is, I'm the only toy nut in the group!

I know that feeling. I have a friend who has an EPIC G1 stash at his parents house. I'm talking Targetmasters, Headmasters, etc. Unfortunately, he refuses to part with them. So there they sit, in his parents basement, hidden in boxes. :-(

Congrats on the nice haul, you're lucky you have generous friends willing to give away their TFs.

Right, my crew don't even want them, but they just won't part with them.

Now I'm saying, even if you do want them, wouldn't it be better to see them kept and preserved sidelined in an obviously cared for collection, as apose to being just another box stored!?!

It's not like I wouldn't give them back.

Lucky you....my collection from my childhood was in my parents' attic. The first chance that I got, I went home to grab it and take it back to my apartment.

Nice, I got thrown out of my parents house, so for 3 months every Monday and Thursday night I got to wait across the street in some bushes to go get my stuff, then walk it a mile and a half to my friends basement.

Fortunatly my brother who had to box and bag everything was willing to be carefull with everything for only $200 a month.

True story.

Eh, what ever doesn't kill ya, just leaves ya scared and bitter on the inside :D

Those times sucked, a year homeless and and scurring just to save what you have and scrape up enough to get by on is a tough nut. But that was a few years ago. In that time I went from having everything taken from me and living on the streets, to getting ready to buy a house with nothing but my own efforts to thank for it!

My advice in this, when things go bad, don't sulk around, figure out how your gonna get past it, then get to work on that plan. If that don't work, well get a new plan...

Oh and actualy it was only my mom's house at the time, if my dad didn't pass on, none of that ever would have happened.
