Ebay auction-too good to be true?

Is this right? Why is this guy selling the Magnus/Skywarp 2 pack for only $15 when everyone else is selling theirs for $40-$50 even $80?

I checked the shipping cost with the calculator provided and confirmed it with the seller, it would be about $13. It just seems strange, there are other auctions where people are bidding on $40+ 2-packs, but haven't bought this one. :?

That does seem quite low. They were clearanced at Target at one point, so maybe he got an extremely good deal or maybe he paid nothing for them. Maybe he just wants to get rid of them and doesn't care about making a big profit or maybe he doesn't know any better...

Could be that the seller doesn't know what they have. The rest of his store is full of hats and office things. Looks like a good deal for you pick it up, what do you have to lose?

It seems like a good place to get a Magnus before you get the TFclub upgrade.

That's what I was thinking. It just seems odd that nobody else has bought it yet when people are bidding on auctions that are more expensive.

The TFclub upgrade is what has me all fired up!

I'll take the chance. Besides, PayPal will go after him if you insist enough when the deal happens to go south.

We'll just have to see now, won't we.

EDIT: And I'm now glad I jumped on this when I did.

See that's why I was nice and left 1.

I already have this set opened, but concerning Classics, I like having one sealed too.

I was gonna get both sets and resell the other, cause it realy would have payed for both, but I figured why be greedy!?!

After all, this could have just as easily passed me right by.

Thanks for the tip though.

And here I thought I left you one, I just hadn't posted to the forum yet.

God knows I've been looking for a decent priced set since they went off store shelves.

When I ordered mine it said 1 left.

I wasn't gonna pass on this though. Who knows, maybe some one beat me to it and I'm gonna get a message saying OOPS.

Whatever Happens, Happens.

I'm glad PayPal makes that easy to say.

And hey, if we beat out the origional poster here, sorry man, but be warned, don't ever give full details to collectors on real good deals till you got yours first.

It's cool. Money's tight for me right now, and if I had gotten this set, well then I'd have to get the TF club kit as well. When I'm done with school and making money again, I'll get back to buying TFs and not just dreaming about it. Just glad I made someone's day! :)

Liege, I concede defeat in this matter. (YOU JUST HAD TO GO TECHNICAL!)

Bumble, I understand your plight. I'm in the same boat to a degree, and probably will start collecting heavily upon my return to the real world after graduation from college. It'll happen soon, trust me.

Also, I really do appreciate your find. You've helped me a great deal, and that is something I don't know if I can repay. But it is appreciated.

And Bumble, yeah thanks for the tip. Best of luck, and thanks for being a great sport!

I was just playing around with the whole "I left you one, no I left you one" thing.
