"Bluestreak" looks incredibly lame. Movie colored Jazz? why bother...
For all the complaining about constant repaints etc etc, I'm wondering how many of those people are going to be all over these two "new" releases.

Thats good news. I could always use more BT/Alts. I was late to the party and would want more of them accessible at a retail price.

Like CP said, both of these are a bit lame, I’m only looking forward to these for two reasons, I missed out on the first Jazz and this means they’re going to keep the line going.
Does any one else get the feeling we’ll be seeing Rumble repainted as Frenzy?

That Bluestreak is lame but I can stomach Jazz because I also missed out on the first release of the mold.

If it's only the Binaltechs and not the Alternators that are coming back, then a recolored Frenzy is highly unlikely.

How so?

Rumble was an Alternators only character, like the four-legged Ravage. He never made it to the Binaltech lineup.

I like the Jazz, the Bluestreak is too plain though. He looks like Smokescreen without the decals.

There's nothing stopping them from deciding maybe they should
take Hasbro's mold and use it for a Frenzy repaint. Especially if they decide to continue the line. I sold my Rumble and kind of regret it,
but I won't buy it again. Recolored I could be persuaded.

I'd still like to hold out on this wish for an SDCC exclusive down the road sometime. I thought maybe this year, but not if the Classics Nemesis Prime that is rumored is the exclusive...
RUMOR: Binaltech Is Back! Introducing BT-19, and BT-20

What can be said, but transforming diecast, realistic cars are not going to stay dead if Takara has anything to say about it.
Nekoman reports that he has found pictures of Takara Exclusive Binaltech repaints for BT-19 Bluestreak and BT-20 Movie Colors Jazz.
You can join the already existing discussion
here in Nekoman's thread.
Does this mean we might see more Binaltech and Alternators in the future? Nobody's sure, but it does seem to make it a whole lot more likely!

Working to merge, but on topic, I thought that they did a silver version of Smokescreen already, which is basically Bluestreak, but they could have put the blue on the silver for the Diaclone feel, not just make Smokescreen without all the advertising be called Bluestreak.
I like the Jazz in silver though.

Bluestreak looks nice, but makes me think more of a naked Smokscreen...
Jazz is nice. I like shiny. But I don't do BTs

I agree on the Bluestreak. Besides, all variants of this mold considered, it has been done four times (streak, smokescreen, Alert, Ricochet) already, which, though I love the mold, is PLENTY. I will certainly pass on this one.
As for the Jazz. The color is great, it's Jazz in a Shockwave mold (minus the gunarm) and the mold is one of the best ones, but then again, they already have four versions of this mold, too (jazz, zoom-zoom, shockwave, Autorooper). However, I just might pick this up for the metallic novelty of it. But do I really need another Jazz? That is the kind of question I have to wonder whether Takara had considered.

Coolpop welcomes any new member [rumored] of Binaltech/Alternators. Ok where do we pre-order these babies?

I have both of those molds, the org. ones, and Bluestreak is Smokescreen, just without the rally race stuff. I'll be passing on these.

So are these just like the old Binaltechs, just shinier? I'd like to see what Reprolabels can do with these.

Its the best new i have heard for a long time. Straight away took my preorder money back for HeNKEI grimlock, scream and mirage just for both of them. i miss the binaltech mold of smokescreen. both that mold is alts silverstreak and smokescreen. well for the jazz he is the best movie character in movie other than bumblebee. so will suits well with my three other movie jazz. hehe....

Bluestreak is going to be a bloody wreck.
Alert was the last use of the mold and it was terrible in terms of quality...

I have an book that says that Alternators/Binaltech will return. I don't know if its offical, but by the way it looks it has to be.

I'm undecided on these. I like the molds, but I'm going to wait on deciding until I see better pics. It should be interesting to see what direction the line goes after this.

Jazz looks nice but not something I would set aside money for. There's too much other stuff coming out this year. Still, the line continuing might mean more good news down the road.

The only way i'll get excited about this news is if ti means new molds ar coming. Isn't this like the 40th time they've reused that Subaru impreza mold? And we think HASBRO does a lot of repaints...hell the jazz mold ORIGINALLY had two colors to start with! Leave it alone already...Show me something new...I'd love to see an SUV binaltech of Trailbreaker or Brawn. Maybe an Indycar Wildrider. A lamborghini BT would be nice too...but for the love of moving parts, do something NEW!

I'm happy to see the line continue, but since I already have these guys they are both passes for me.
If they were being released state side as Alts (and thus less expensive than their imported brethren) I could use them as bases for repaints of my own.
