I'm getting very close to being done with the Movie line,
and so in the couple of "months off" I may hunt down a figure or two.

If you could only recommend one or two figures from the line, who are they?

I currently only have:
a couple two packs;
Excellion/Thundercracker
Downshift/Cannonball
and
Cybertron Primus

Thanks!!

Sideways
Supreme Starscream
Armorhide
Cybertron Defense Hot Shot, Scattorshot, and Red Alert
Optimus+Wingsaber combined is awesome.
Galvatron

also Thunderblast is great just because she is a true fembot.

Don't have any but I'd have to say Metroplex and Cybertron Galaxy Force Vector Prime are the 2 I want most from that line.

Goddamnit, Metroplex is back to 39 on KB Toys.com :(

there are so many great molds in cybertron line.
Judging from the picts, supreme starscream, downshift, galvatron, soundwave, thunderblast, and many more, have good both robot and alt modes.even some of the minicons are worth to buy for collections.

in my collection, i only have GF vector prime, quickmix, lugnutz, override GTS,ransack GTS,swerve, and my fav one is quickmix, because he is very poseable in robot mode and has cool alt mode.

Here's an odd one for you... Snarl.

I typically don't like beastformers, but just this week I started messing around with my Botcon Weirdwolf and it's a really fun mold. I'm now on the lookout for the original and Dark Fang Wolf.

Darkfang Wolf is a pox.

For a long time, no one wanted him, ever. BBTS put his ass on clearanc down to like $18.

Now? It's not even that he's all that expensive (expect somewhere around $60 inclusive of shipping), it's just that he doesn't pop up anymore.

I think there's an overpriced one on eBay right now. Might as well snag him.

All acquisition problems aside, he's a very nice figure.

I think that my favorite figure from the line ends up being Mudflap. He's such a good toy, but needs a better color scheme. Not that the current one is bad, but the baby blue says 'sleepy' to me, when Mudflap should say 'Action Packed Shazam!'.

Galvatron
Mudflap
Supreme or Voyager Starscream, preferably the Voyager.
GF Prime
Cyb Defense Hotshot
Cyb Defense Scattershot
Scourge
Armorhide
Shortround

Wow, what an endorsement for Mudflap. I passed him up every time I'd seen him. He just didn't look that action packed.
I'm gonna say Sky Shadow. An Autobot spy is just fun to have in your setup. Sure, he fits in perfectly with the Decepticon, but 'BLAMO'
he's an Autobot. He's definately my favorite from the Cybertron line.
Get him or the new version coming out at TRU.

Another one I never would have thought about if I never held it in my
hands was Dirt Boss. I really like that toy.

I forgot about Dirt Boss. He was one of my favorites from that first wave of Cybertron figures. And Down Shift too, he was just excellent. Add those two to my list.

I have Leader Megatron, but I guess everyone thinks his recolored form is cooler, but the figure is great.

Unicron

Thunderblast

I have deluxe beast Megatron, who is the recolor of the BW 10th anniversary figure, and he's not bad.

If I had to pick 2 I'd say Dark Scorponok(nothing like a cool triple changer) and Downshift, but since you already have him, I'd have to say then CD Scattorshot as someone also mentioned.

I'd also recommend the smaller Primes: Deluxe Cybertron Planet Optimus Prime. And Deluxe Jungle Planet Optimus Prime.

They are both re-colors from other lines. But are arguably two of the best deluxe molds of recent lines.

I can't believe nobody has said EVAC!!! Freaking awesome.

You need to get the good stuff if you're going to fully appreciate the line.

- Evac!!!!
- Sideways
- Mudflap (he saws his victims to pieces, 1 stroke takes about 47 seconds)
- Cyb. Def. Scattorshot
- Prime w/ Wingsaber
- Jetfire or Skyshadow (Ultra)
- Cyb Def. Red Alert
- Armorhide
- Ransack GTS
- Megatron, or Galvy ... I kinda like Megatron better, unlike many others.
- Starscream, both of them.
- Primus. Don't be fooled by his warming of the shelves. Really awesome figure.

Jetfire/Sky Shadow are my favorite figures from Cybertron line as well, waiting for TRU Jetstorm to join in the force.

Can't recommend this Optimus Prime enough.

There are a lot of good figs in this line though, but Prime and Galvatron are a must.

Armorhide: one of my favorites, I highly recommend him.
Landmine: has a bit of a lame gimmick, but the figure is a true winner.
Japanese Vectorprime: if not the Japanese version don’t even bother, the Japanese version has solid wings and superb paint.
Smokescreen: I generally prefer this paint scheme over the original, a lot of people hate this figure for the hard transformation, but I feel its rewarding in both modes.
Shortround: Not as well articulated as the rest of the figures I name off, but he’s still a great little guy.
Redalert: better paint than Cannonball.

Also don’t forget to check your dollar stores, they have repackaged Energon and Cybertron scouts for five each.

Armorhide, definatly, but I would suggest the Target movie Sector 7 repaint of him. Black with yellow and grey, he just looks awesome.

Ransack GTS and Sideways are must haves.

And I liked the Ramble/Scrapmetal mold, it has good articulation and is fun to play with, plus it comes with "piledrivers".

Sweet.

- Armorhide (either original or Target repaint from the "movie line")
- Mudflap
- Sideways
- Ransack
- Evac
- Downshift
- Scrapmetals
- Clocker / Swerve
- Leader class Optimus, or the repaint of Bendy Prime. Both work. :D

It's a hard choice, TBH I think Cybertron is the best line out there. there were so many good figures in the line I wasn't really disappointed with any of them. I manages to snag them all but I guess the ones that stand out in the top of my mind would be Supreme Starscream (or the GF Voyager Starscream) Sideways and Soundwave.
