Agash, im having a hard time just getting to Botcon let alone get any figures. Im really really starting to love this figure for whatever reason. i'd buy it in a second if I had the cash.

Anyway though, I think this Botcon set has been really creative.

I like all the weathering effects they put on him.

Not to invite flaming or anything, but I just can't get into this figure... I absolutely love the Classics Prime mold, and I suppose I'd hunt one if I have nothing else to hunt...but I'm really not feeling the purple, the weathering effects, the green headlights...not even the tattooed motto.

Love the idea for this set, but underwhelmed by the final products. Oh well, there's always SDCC Nemesis Prime, which, if it's actually coming out, I'm more excited about. I know it's just a black Prime, but I'm more into the clean jet black rather than the purple cracked look.

You gotta remember, going with black would have held the old Nemesis look too much. And grey isnt all that menacing anymore.

Its cool having Animated Optimus next to this version of Classics Optimus. Since I have Classics Optimus, I know how tall he is, so that helps put Ani Optimus in better perspective. It also means that Animated Lugnut really isn't that short, since he seems to be almost as tall as Classics Optimus.

No... Just no! This mold was already used twice in the classics series, plus a botcon exclusive and then we get to give our LEFT nut to Hasbro for this mold AGAIN at SDCC. Mind you there will be no minor or head remold just black and teal paint apps and a F***ING DECEPTICON LOGO!!!

Well, I'd agree with that. A deeper purple, maybe with some silver, though?

What is the story behind the Shattered Glass set?

THe Botcon Prime looks nice since its not a simple repaint but comes with detailing, But I really like the Animated prime better. i hope they release Animated line already.

I've said it before, and those green headlights just reinforce my opinion of him being Barney Prime XD I love this deco, if he's not too high priced on Ebay when Botcon comes and goes, I'm picking him and maybe Goldbug up. Rest of the set I didn't really like though, as Grimlock was bland, Jazz is practically NASCAR for all the writing on him, and Starscream is kinda boring as he is.

I found a guy on Ebay selling a custom Nemesis Prime using the Classics Prime. It looks pretty good.
