Along with the
auction for the '08 Botcon exclusive Optimus Prime, eBay seller etoyshunter has always posted an auction for the Voyager-class Lugnut figure from the new Transformers: Animated series. This is our first glance at the fully-painted Lugnut figure, that was strangely absent from this year's Toyfair.

So, is Voyager Prime kind of tall, or is Voyager Lugnut kind of short, or a combination of both.
Between Lugnut and Bulkhead, those are some short voyagers.

God damnit. I thought "WOW! MUST HAVE!!", and then I saw how small he was.
They'd better make a leader of summat, because these midget voyagers are really pissing me off.

Killa!
I love this guy, must have!
But I do hope they will make a leaderclass version just like Bulkhead!

Looks nice, might pick him up. I wonder if he can use "the punch"? I'd really like to see some pics of his partner Blitzwing.

Doesn’t look bad, I think someone at Hasbro really needs to lay off the axes though.

Nice! And to scale with Bulkhead! It seems he has some trigger-things on his arms, so maybe he can do some sort of punch or something. Now I HAVE to see Blitzwing.

Well, it's smaller then I would've preferred, so I guess I'll only be buying Voyager and Deluxe classes for size issues (except leader Megatron, he was much bigger then Lugnut or Bulkhead, right?)

He looks so top heavy. He needs to do some squat thrusts!

This line keeps looking better and better.
That said looking at the figures legs and chest area, combined with the monoeye & paint app, add his level of devotion to Megatron in the cartoon. Is Lugnut the new Shockwave?

Apparently Corey Burton is returning for Shockwave, who is supposed to appear

Can we just start informally calling this guy "Animated Shockwave" now?

No because Shockwave himself may appear in season two.

Looks good, a little short but still good looking.
I like how they made the rear tail assembly into an axe instead of having it hang out on his back Blackout style.

Voyager Prime is really tall.

Well he reminds me of Movie Blackout for some odd reason. Still not too bad.
But I think I'll wait until I see it in person to pass final judgment.
Otherwise he does look rather stout. There will Probably be a Leader class to match up with Leader Bulkhead though.
Voyager Prime on the other hand is pretty tall, he's even taller than Classics Voyager Prime judging by the other Auction.
O.K so what about Blitzwing, still nothing even remotely resembling a prototype has been seen.
Where is he already

I like him. He looks better than I thought he would. And even if he is a bit on the short side, he doesn't look squat like voyager Bulkhead.

I see alot of balancing issues with this figure.
I do have to say though, if they added some detailing to the sculpt I'd probably like him. Right now though he just looks unfinished like most of the bots in this line.

WOW! I thought he looked cool until I scrolled down and saw his skinny little legs.

Imo,
AMAZING!!!!
Yeah, he may have some balancing issues, but overall he looks BADASS.
I will be getting two of him for sure.
I think all of the Animated figures are looking VERY impressive--
even the few that I don't think I'll get.
Thanks for sharing.
I always get a little jolt of excitement seeing these figures.

Wait, he fires two missiles, you can see the missile hole in the last picture in his hand, which is show inaccurate?
