the face, the color, the alt. form,
everything just seems right.

the removable giant missile... the possibilities
of a story right there.

I'd have to say R.I.D. Megs/Galvs. He's just so full of possibilities.

The Plane Mode, and Dragon mode are pretty good. The robot mode has tons of articulation.

Beastwars Megatron - the 10th anniversery repaint. My favorite by far - a worthy succesor to the origonal megatron while being hi own character at the same time- woud have like the rmold to have a hand tho.

I totally agree-Beast wars had the best megs. Great character, the evolution of the toy design made sense, and just "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssss"

Megatron as Optimal Optimus... _>

My favorite might be Armada Megs. I really liked him and how his cannon came around on his hip.

But a close second is Classics. The "wings" don't bother me at all. He has an arm cannon that well represents his G1 'toon self. Not perfect, but darn good looking.

I like the transmetal dinosaur mold for Beast Warts Megs.

I also like Cybertron Galvatron, which I call Megatron. (The same way I call Energon Megatron, Galvatron.)

As much as dislike the Armada line, I believe that my favorite Megs would be Armada Tank Megatron. My only complaint would be his silly "claw crown". But I can live with that. Not only that, but you can load him up with all sorts of mini-cons to just give him a big beefed up look.

If you like not paticularly well designed giant racecar/batmobile crosebreeds that have had unicron puke all over them, then yes, Cyb Megs is good...

Personally, for all round toy, Energon Megatron, with an honerable mention for the larger G2 Megatron. But there will only be two Megatrons that deserve the name in my collection, and that is MP and G1 megs.

Since we are not allowed to include Mp Megatron and since I believe we are talking toys then in my opinion the best Megatron is Classic Megatron {once you remove the orange caps from his scope and barrel.} His gun wings have actually grown on me they give him a more majestic appearance as well as adds to his malvolency. Close second the titatanium war with in Megatron followed by the energon Megatron.

classics meg is so popular with u guys...

I'm sorry I can't get over the nerf gun and moth wings...

Armada meg is popular too, he looks crazy when you
attach tidal wave onto him, and in the same line,
cybertron meg with nemesis breaker... too much man.

beast wars meg I think the show character is way
better than the toy.

the G1 toy, suprised to hear some people pick this,
but you know what?
tis really true when they say, they don't make em like
they use to.

I think it gives MP Meg a run for its money, yes I really
do!

esp. that design on the side of the gun, that was one
of my fave. things about him.

Rambling? naw, its poetry as always ;-)

But I agree, I really don't like Classics Megs. And all the other megs, they aren't Megs to me. G1 megs is a work of art. I hated him as a kid. Growing up, I have come to really appreciate its beauty. I actually have 2 G1 megs and a reissue. My Classics Megs is sitting in a zip lock bag, in a box in the closet.

I agree so much, I use to think, what the HELL,
trigger crotch, he is crazy-disproportionate, but
like you said, I've really come to appreciate the guy,
though its taken me 20+ years

I remember as a lil twerp I asked mom for OP and she said,
no way he is too expensive, but I can get you Meg, and I
said, no way, he looks stupid, BOY do I regret that!!!
but then again, my 1st Transformer ended up being
Soundwave which was dang awesome, so no complaints
I guess.
Megs was never meant to be mine I guess.

WMPYR, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to aquire a G1 megs ASAP.
