Hey people!
Today, i saw 3 TF:A Voyager class figures at a local store, they were Starscream, Bulkhead and Cybertron-Mode Megatron.

Hence, i bought the starscream one.

Here're the pics. (I haven't had a chance to actually open it yet, pics of the figure itself will be posted later). Sorry that the pics are cut off at the side.

NOTE: I DO NOT LIVE IN THE STATES, THE CONVERTED PRICE IN US$ IS APPROX US$39.

Looks like someone is playing with us. Pre-releasing their toys is odd. Or maybe the store bought the figs from ebay to sell them?
How much was he?

this is awesome, i get back from iraq in like 15 days and i get to actually gorge on TF's for the first time in a loooong time. im pumped if these have actually hit stores....

It was approx US$39.
And there were other stocks too, so i doubt that it was from ebay.
And there weren't any prototype markings either.

It seems we might trust Deadpool here...

Maybe stores are getting early shipments in but have to hold back till June.

But it's hard to see this in a place like KMart or something.

Nothing like starscream pretending to be thundercracker. The figure is nice but i dont like his colors in the cartoon. Thundercrackers colors on starscream dont look right. Thundercracker is the best seeker and should not have his colors jacked like that. Whats the cartoon going to do if they decide to put him in the show, Give him starscreams colors?

Well, for a company that targeted this new line at kids, they sure didn't target their pocket change.

The molds growing on me slightly, but I still don't care for the huge chin and his colors are wrong.

what store did you get it at? I still don't think its out yet. Scan a copy of the receipt as well....

I think its safe to say something’s funny here, and don’t get me wrong Den-O, I trust you, but a voyager for double its retail price? No store I’ve ever been to charges that kind of mark up. And then there’s the fact that no one else besides that one auction way back has claimed to have found them.

Before anyone gets too excited, keep in mind Den-O may just be very, very lucky. I’d say, maybe as lucky as Muffin way back then.

How is that double retail price when it's not in American Dollar? Den-O, you need to put in your post that you're not in the States.

only thing i can think of is that maybe someone put the early stock out too soon?

but God i hope Voyagers aren't gonna be 39 bucks now.

THE PRICE IS NOT IN US DOLLARS AND THIS IS NOT FROM THE US.

I bolded that so people will stop thinking that these are going to be above the normal cost when they are released in the US.

I live in Singapore. It's located in Asia.

This is in no way intended to be rude, because God only knows the crazy purchases I've made over the years, but why pay so much to get a figure that will be mass produced and available at retail in a few months. This is really more directed at those who have purchased these guys on ebay, I have no idea what voyagers go for in Singapore, maybe that is the retail price.

That's actually just a few dollars off the usual price for a Voyager-class over here.

So it sounds like animated is officially out in Asia then. I think we should be seeing animated then in about a month at some stores here in the US.

That's okay.

As everybody knows, the reason that Starscream gets his initial release in non G1 colours is because there will be the inevitable repaint and Hasbro knows that he is so popular that some people will buy the initial release because it is Starscream and then whinge about the colours and then buy the G1 colour version.
