These are rather old news, old stick. A few people here have them (and seem to vouch for them). I think someone once said they're not in scale with the Alts. but I don't personally own any to check.

A lot of people have used them for kitbashes, I believe.

I love em, if you get the repo labels and remake it into an autobot and decpticon, its pretty cool. They are made well, and make excellent fan created characters.. I know a guy who will do artwork and produce G-1 style packaging for your bot once you make him a decepticon or Autobot.. it's kinda a neat thing to do.. but overall they are nice bots.. Amazon has them for way too much money though, they are very cheap any where else..usually about half the price of Transformers..

Kevin Lange Makes Custom transformers boxes and would be a great choice to make custom boxes for your Roadbots.. here is his interview:

If you have no luck there this is a link to a great deal of Kitbash sites geared specifically twards the transformers..

There is also Mattel's Hot Wheels Modifighters. They obviously are designed for a younger age group.

With Roadbots and Modifighters out competing against Alternators/Binaltechs you would think that Hasbro/Takara would see the value in staying in this market and continue the line.

I wanted to stock the Roadbots but for the small quantites that I order they werent worth it as I was told they are quite heavy and shipping to me would have pushed cost way up.
Shame really cos most of them look very smart.

There are a few different sizes if I remember correctly.

For those wondering, here's the breakdown of sizes and models available. In comparison, the BT's are 1:24:

1:32 Scale
Ford GT
Mitsubishi Pajero
Mitsubishi Evo 9
Toyota Celica

1:18 Scale
Toyota Supra
Toyota MR2
Toyota Land Cruiser
Toyota Celica
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII
Lamborghini Murcielago
Hummer H2 SUV

1:12 Scale (really big)
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX
Ford GT

Here in Holland the 1:32 ones are abundant, while the Toyota Supra is the only 1:18 one here.

That Hottie Chick in your signature was called Eleria, she was from Angel season 5 and went by the name fred originally, but she was possessed by an Uber demon and became known as Eleria.. actually she was replaced by Eleria in soul.. if that is even accurate..
