New Pictures of my Transformer Collection Room

Howdy... Just recently I had my entire house recarpeted, so I had to pack up my Transformer Collection and move them down stairs while the room they inhabit was being recarpeted. During this process, I decided to change the border of the room to the Movie line and install a few more shelves to display my collection in. Spent most of the last weekend unpacking, cleaning and displaying the figures. I still have the entire movie line to unbox and display as well as a few from other lines, but I hope to do that soon! Here are a few links to pictures of how things look so far... I like to display my figures by series, but I am running out of room. Feel free to comment... :D

Thank you! It's taken a while to get them together... Yes, the cats (there are 2) have been known to disloge a figure now and then. :-x Usually the legends figures on the desk...

Many Many Thanks... I used to share this room with my partner's Star Wars collection, but that slowly got pushed out and is now setup downstairs... NOW THE ROOM IS ALL MINE!! Muhahaha! Yes, it took about 4 days of work to put it back together, I'm still aching, which is why I had to stop before I started opening the Movie toys, I needed a break... (:| I think I need to add a few more shelves to the bookcases to make room for additional figures... Real Gear and Robot Heros don't take up that much room...

Cool collection. It's funny, a lot of that room looks like my room. :) Still, there's lots of things you have and I don't and vice versa...

I had the idea to put the 6" titaniums in boxes over the door and window as well, but never did. Ultimately after I had about eight of them I ended up opening them all as they take up so much less room out of the box. I was also going to keep the 3" ones sealed and hang them up, but ended up opening them after I decided I wasn't going to keep buying them.

I'm just curious, approximately how many Transformers are we looking at in the room?

Many Thanks!! Out of lack of space is how I ended up putting the 6" Titaniums over the door and window, originally they were just down the side of a wall. I find that the 3" fit well there, I may someday open them when it comes time to re-arrainge the collection to make room for more...

I think I am around 950 to 1000 in my bots... I've lost count, and really need to resubmit for insurance purposes

I'm kind of wondering what you do for a living and if you could hook a fellow Seibertronian up with job?

That dwarfs my collection so badly it's not even funny. My cat knocks my TFs over too, it's damned annoying to be woken up by the sounds of Classics hitting the table.

Don't hate me, but to be honest, I don't work... :SMUG: I have a very understanding Partner who works 3 jobs to support my collection.

Only one of the cats is bad about knocking stuff over and or off, she likes to think the shelves are her personal gym (You should have seen her when the shelves were empty... I try to fill them as much as possible to hamper her. The other cat is just clumsy...

Great collection man. I like how neat and organized it looks. You can easily see everything and nothing gets lost, great presentation.

And you can thank me now for not buying that Lio Convoy from CP. :D

Your poor partner  :P

My TFs are on a soft top table on the wall at the foot of my bed, usually my cat sleeps on my stomach or beside me with his head on my shoulder but some times he decides to sleep amongst my TFs and he tends to knock them over  But I usually forgive him about 5 seconds after scolding him.

I just got my own digital camera so maybe I'll post pics of my weak and pathetic collection

But for now I leave you with a pic of mah kitteh Shadow:

I shall post pics of my collection but first I have to get a memory card for my camera, just found instructions for it online so I need to get it set up to take clearer pictures cuz it's always taken fuzzy pics. Also, where did you get all your TF posters from? I need some to hang near my collection.

Imagine dozens of Rubbermaid containers, of many brilliant colors, all stacked neatly and labled.

Like that.
