Does anyone know anything about this figure yet, or if hasbro is even making one, because it seems we are being left pretty much in the dark about his status, especially considering there has been nothing since comic con 2007 when all that was seen of him was a drawing of the prototype titled Voyager class Blitzwing. Anyone have any knowledge or ideas?

No news yet. I personally can't wait for him. More triplechangers!

It's actually a triplechanging voyager. So maybe it'll be a little easier, eh? I for one think it'll look great, and I really want to see that thing.

I have to admit, I was pretty excited to see Blitzwing in the new cartoon, because of the thought of a new triplechanger toy. (He's the one that was a purple and tan jet/tank/robot in G1, right? He was one of my favorite toys as a kid!)

OoOoO! I want that BAAD! I have not heard there will be one yet, but if there is, I will own it for sure!...That is if it looks as good as the rest of the TF:A toys!

He would be great and there still alot of figures that they haven't said anything about yet. Hopefully, he's one.

Yeah, this is one of the Animated figures I'm definitely interested in. I can't wait to see him, hopefully he's as similar to the cartoon as the other Animated figures have been...

After this I want to see Waspinator!

I'm also biting my lip waiting for Blitzy. back when they revealed the first few figures. Blitzwing was confirmed as a figure, although we only saw the concept art of his 3 modes.

So its a pretty sure thing their will be a Blitzwing toy, unfortunately nothing has leaked on him. Don't know why they've been so secretive about him. Heck even his partner Lugnut is out. And nothing on him. not even a gray proto.



Still one of the more anticipated Animated figures. hopefully we'll see something about him soon.

This is without a shadow of a doubt my most desired Animated figure & I can't wait to see some pics of it.

you think that hasbro has honestly designed some substandard toy and now its all hidden away because its so bad?? thats reading way to much into to little.

Difficult to design a 3 head gimmick?? its likely a helmet with a spinning head insdie like man-e-faces from masters of the universe, that was achieved in a cruddy toy 20 years ago.

Or like Masterpiece Starscream, which is the best toy in the last 20 years. The design team at Hasbro/TT have had far more time to work on these then you may think. If I recall, they have already designed and finished the first two seasons of the show as well as the toys for all the characters that appear in it. So I think it's safe to say that Blitzwing is well and good. In the boy business, it's all about marketing. When they want us to see it, we'll see it, even when we think it's a "leaked image"

I too (along with 50,000,000,000 others) am looking forward to Blitzwings release.I need another Triplechange and I am sure as hell looking forward to his Fcae Changing Gimmick.

This will be a figure i will definately buy! I like the character in the TFA series and can't wait for the toys! Triple changers were always super cool!

This is the one must have toy from the animated line I want. I've always wanted triplechanger toys but could never get em as a kid, now with him and Classics 2.0 Octane (Tankor) coming out for cheap I am very happy.

I hope his toy is good. I really don't think they'll mess it up with the rest of the line looking like it does. Besides him and Earth Mode Megatron I can settle for G1 versions of everyone else.

If hasbro hid away every lame TF they designed, then we would have never seen Armada Sidways, Cybertron Backstop, and lots of other really bad transformers.

Sadly, it looks that if Blitzwing is getting a toy, its going to be an exculsive. i kno withis is a stupid idea, but i guess its to atract more prople to BotCon, *sigh* I say this because we havent seen anything, not even a prototype yet, it sure does suck, if anyone knows of a prototype existing, with proof of images, pleese let me know here

I think your looking alittle to much into this. BotCon is hinting nothing as to having a BlitzWing mold.

Alot of Animated toys haven't shown a prototype yet even though there have been image releases.

Just be patient, don't jump the gun and most certainly don't mistake theory for "must be" that always leads to problems.

BlitzWing may very well be an exclusive, but with the lack of prototype, I think it's just gonna be a latter release coming out with Magnus and Sentinel.

Hasbro is not going to flood the market with every Animated toy right off the bat. While sketches of the figure have been shown, you are right about no prototype yet. That in no way means it is going to be an exclusive figure down the road. Not to say that won't happen, but I think it is way to early to make such a statement.
