The good news? Transformers Animated figures are now available online by visiting HasbroToyShop.com by clicking here:
http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/SearchResults.htm?PG=1&CDT=1206371064.
The bad news? Once you've added the items to your cart, it says that the product won't ship until June. "Availability: This product will begin shipping on or about 06/23".
In the meantime, you can check out Seibertron.com's Transformers Animated galleries by clicking
here. Check back in the next couple of days for galleries of Voyager Class Megatron and Voyager Class Optimus Prime.

I knew it was too good to be true when I heard they'd be for sale. I'll just wait for them to hit shelves, who knows it may be quicker to wait than to preorder.

And so the June date is upheld as many if us thought it would be.
I still say this is a crock that we have to wait or buy inferior product from online factory worker/thieves/and others who get prototypes, and product samples before they are released (many times in illegal manners).

While I am waiting for the other figures, I did purchase a production sample of the Deluxe Cybertron Prime, and I fail to see how it would be inferior to the retail versions.

You know, I'm not at all surprised at that. Seriously, what is the point in "ordering" them now, paying for them now, but then not having them ship now? These are preorders and Hasbro should label them as such.

Of course there's a catch. There always is. I knew HTS wasn't going to ship these bad boys now. I'll just wait til they hit store shelves on June 22nd. That way I can enjoy the thrill of the hunt!

Oh well, at least we can get them for certain. Except those galleries are like teasing a dog with food it can't reach, or somebody hugging their parents in front of an orphan.

Sometimes they have faulty paint applications, or the packaging is different than the final version.

well, I guess I got lucky then! I have no messed up paint apps on this Prime. In fact, the paint apps are better than the ones on the retail First Strike Prime I bought a couple of weeks ago... lol
Of course, I also got no instructions or packaging with it, but I'm okay with that. I plan on buying another one to keep on display in the packaging when they hit retail.

Just as I thought, next time guys, don’t jump to conclusions. We still have another wave of movie AP and the premiums before animated comes out. Right now, I’m setting here laughing my @$$ off that I’ve been right on almost everything relating to the release of this series.
And don’t forget, June 22nd the “Black suits” special Scalper legions troop will be there…

They will not charge you until the items are in stock and you can take advantage of the 10% off with free shipping promo code.
This is a win. I ordered the set I plan to open from HTS and ordered the set I plan to keep MISB/MOSC from BBTS.

What a joke. It's just like anything else. No Online Store will get figures in mass till the actual release date.

I did this last year with the Movie Deluxes, they didn't arrive till 2 weeks after the retail date. I just figure fair warning.

Then you don't know how retail stores work. TRU had movie toys sitting in the back room a full TWO MONTHS before the release date.

OK that was one instance. My brothers wife manages our Target (nightshift) and believe me they have none here in Redding Ca. I also worked part time at Toys R Us--we never got anything 2-3 months early. I'm 30 years old and believe me I got a pretty good grasp on how "retail works" on the business end. And stocking crap that can't or won't sell for the next 90 days is NOT going to happen.
I reject your opinion and substitute my own

You guys don't think that maybe...I don't know....you're both right? Some stores definately get these toys in stock two months, give or take, earlier than they can sell them. There's been proof of that. Plus, if you get the shipment, you can't just make it go away till you sell it. That's also how retail works. Other stores don't have that problem though and thus don't have to deal with it.
