It seems
http://www.tfsource.com is completely sold out of MP Megatron. If you don't already have one on proerder there or somewhere else you better get looking cause they soon may be nowhere to be found, though I would think that Takara would do another run on these. I don't recall the Mp convoy's selling this quick.

Damn me and my financial control. I didn't want to blow my entire Tax Refund in one day, but it looks like I should've at least spent an extra $100...

I ordered mine from RobotKingdom, which said they're in stock. Now I'am here waiting Patiently for it to come.
How Long do you think it will be untill I start to go crazy.

Yep, these are getting hard to come by already. I tried to order in more and was told that they have all been sold or allocated to suppliers.

HLJ have gone the same way. Both capped and uncapped have been sold and are already listed as discontinued. If Takara Tomy don't do a rerun on these I can see their Ebay price sky rocket.

I emailed robotkingdom.com yesterday to find out about a tracking number. They replied, said it shipped on the 10th and a tracking number should be coming soon.
I picked EMS shipping so hopefully it will be here by Monday.

If he really is about to become rare, then get your order in with whoever has them. Mine just came in and its freaking awesome. I let my food get cold cos I had to unwrap.

I got an e-mail from TFsource last night telling me they ran out and I ordered one the day before....I am angry because I don't trust BBTS with theirs since people are saying its glued in and everything...I don't even know if my money was taken from TFsource when I placed the order.

Did they really make a limited number of these?!

Probably not. I think the best comparison to what seems to be happening with MP-05 would be THS-02. When it was first released, stores couldn't even fill all their preorders due to the demand, but after about a month, boom, Takara released plenty more, driving down some temporarily insane secondary-market prices.
Being sold out due to excessive demand and intentionally produced in limited quantities aren't the same thing.

Has it been confirmed that BBTS has glued the cap to Megs? I really hope not, as I was ready to put an order in.

BBTS just sent me a notice that my preorder of Megatron is in. I'll let you know in a few days when it gets here.
I don't think they glued the tips in though.

Isn't there like a solvent that you can use if the cap is glued to help release it, or would that poosibly harm the figure?

I just found something interesting out, I was buying two MP Megs from TFsource, but I'm only getting one because they ran out, looks like I got their last one...

Solvent and plastic generally dont get on. You might be able to drill it out. Start with a small pilot hole and then use larger and larger drill bits and then once the orange cap is thin enough it might peel out. I stress the word "might", having not seen one of these caps I couldnt say for certain. Have a look at it and make your own mind up.
