Voyager Galvatron a possibility?

I keep thinking about how Galvatron is a deluxe tank in the new line in Universe and it sort of disappoints me, but then I remembered something. The first Classics line had a Deluxe tank Megatron, could it be the same thing for this new wave? Is it possible that they're still making a Classics Voyager Galvatron that turns into a plasma cannon ala G1? I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my monkey shaved for this one. I think it's a very good possibility that this is most likely the case, cuz I don't think they'd make the Classics line and make Megatron into a handgun, something that hadn't been done for over 20 years, and then just make Galvatron into a deluxe tank.

I can't say too much, but I've seen a prototype almost a year ago now of what was to be "classics" Galvatron and it's nothing like what we are getting. Very g1, very awsome. What I would have wanted if Takara would get off their arses and make a THS Galvatron, but bigger and made of plastic. I also remember seeing the original Octane prototype, which looked just like the art we saw at Botcon. Very strong looking, came with a tailfin shield, and what looked to be an almost alternator like hand gun.
Mind you changes happen every day. Who knows, maybe we will end up getting it. But for all I know, we may end up seeing something like it in Animated when they decide to kill of Megs... again...

I like your thinking, but wouldn't that mean they'ld also have to release a Rodimus Prime to go with him?

I'm also hoping for this, but sadly realizm of everyday life has forever dulled my hopes.

Yeah but I'm sure they could if they wanted, though they did release him in Titaniums so they may not release Rod Prime at all cuz then they'd have to do Scourge too. I'm still hoping to see a voyager Galvatron though.

Why'd you leave out Cyclonus?

I think it's definitely a possibility. Whether it's a very good possibility or a very low possibility I wouldn't venture to guess. If they do make a bigger Galvatron figure, they may go with Ultra class rather than Voyager. So far Universe Classics are Deluxes and Ultras.
Every line needs leaders, and if they went with Ultra Class Galvatron and Rodimus Prime as leaders, they could pack the deluxe Galvatron in a 2-pack with a classics deluxe Rodimus. I dunno if that's a good idea or not, but Hasbro seem to have a thing for 'ultimate battle' 2-packs.

Knowing Hasbro, if they did a Voyager Universe Galvatron, they'd go the cheap route and repaint the Classics Megatron with purple and grey colors and put a big ugly orange plasma cannon piece on the barrel lol.

Pretty soon kids are gonna get the idea that purple paint makes you more powerful, then we're gonna have a lot of paint related fatalities happening down in aisle 27 at Lowe's and who's gonna get all the blame? The purple Teletubby of course.

lmao no doubt. I blame the teletubbies for the state of the world today, because George W. still watches it. Wasn't the purple one the supposedly gay one?

I'm always find info like this rather hard to believe.

If Hasbro already had good prototypes of Galvatron and Octane, why did they scrap those in favour of the ones set to be released? And why are you forced to keep silent about it? There's no harm in discussing something we're
not getting.

I fail to see the connection. Why is Hasbro obligated to release Rodimus Prime and Scourge if a Voyager Galvatron is made?
Besides, I
seriously doubt Voyager Galvatron will become a reality. Hasbro has already updated Galvatron and chosen the Deluxe size class. A larger rendition is just wishful thinking. Live with it, people.

No one said they were obligated to, I stated that they probably wouldn't release a Rodimus Prime just because they made a Classics Galvatron because he, Rodimus Prime, already saw a release in the Titanium line and IF they did release him then people would expect Classics Cyclonus and Classics Scourge but Scourge too has had a titanium release. I can still see them releasing a Classics Rodimus Prime as he was the opposite to Galvatron but I'm not so sure about the Classics Scourge, maybe a Classics Cyclonus further on down the line but right now I can't see them releasing 2 characters who already saw release in the titanium line.

I hope they do both a Classics Cyclonus and Classics Scourge. I didn't pick up Titanium Scourge because he didn't have a gun, or weapon of any kind. Which is really inexcusable to me. He's Scourge. One of the most feared Decepticons ever. And he can't defend himself? He was a targetmaster in G1, but in Titanium he's just has his bare fists?!
Maybe they can do Armada and the Sweeps as BotCon exclusives? Who wouldn't want to pay $300 for the multiples of the exact same figure?

My guess with Tit Scourge is that they wanted people to pretend he used that head cannon as his weapon. Classics Voyager Galvatron and Classics Cyclonus and Scourge would be great.

When I say I can't say too much, it's more about the people I was with and where it was. There are some things you see behind closed doors taht you're just not aloud to talk about. Even if it is just a toy. It's all about confidentiality.
Anyways, the reason a lot of prototypes don't see the light of day or get revised is, for the most part, a cost issue. Materials, dimentions, size and looks all play a role in the re-imaging phase. Much like Classics Cosmos, designers and their teams might not find such exciting moulds good enough to make the cut.

I would love to see a Voyager-sized Classics Galvatron! I'd still get the deluxe as well, he'll go in with the Titaniums anyway.
Bring on the Classics Cyclonus and Scourge!

I just want him to stand tall and proud and not be a dwarf like Starscream, I'm hoping the tank Galvatron is just like the tank version of Classics Megatron and just gonna be released in a 2 pack with Classics Rodimus Prime or Classics Cyclonus, even Classics Wheelie would be acceptable. I'd certainly buy deluxe Galv and voyager Galv if they made him into a cannon. The deluxe toy isn't bad at all and I like it because he's the girst non purple megatron since the original G1 line. My thing is though, they went through all the trouble to make classics Megatron a gun, would they really make his predecessor a mini tank? Just doesn't seem logical to me.

I would like to see a Voyager or larger sized cannon Galvatron.
In the mean time I'll stick with Energon Galvie.
