Seibertron's own Nekoman has come across the sale of the Chevrolet Aveo Swerve figure, that was previously only available with the purchase of an Aveo Motor Vehicle.
However there is a catch, the Aveo Swerve figure is only
available for purchase from their
European online store.
The Aveo Swerve figure will sell for €12.80, which (according to
xe.com) equates to about US$20, but each order will incur a 25Pound (US$50) Processing fee on top of shipping costs.
If you would like to place an order for the Aveo Swerve figure, please
For further information from other Seibertron members on what they paid for shipping and handling, please check out Nekoman's original thread,
here.

I bought two of them which ended at €60,60 after shipping, which should come out to about $120 which is $80 cheaper or more (if you include the ridiculous eBay shipping prices) from the eBay sellers from China. I've debated about buying the ones on ebay for around $200 plus shipping but couldn't do it for a figure that I consider to be worth about $10 to $20. $120 might be a little ridiculous but at least it's coming from the UK, getting shipped fast and now I'm getting two of them so that I can do galleries of this figure for all of you.
Now what'll be a real kicker is when this figure becomes available here in the States on Chevrolet.com for $10 a figure plus $10 shipping. Ah well. At least I get it in advance from when it'll potentially be available here.

I actually emailed the U.S. website to see if they will be offering this figure for sale in the future, I'll post the reply once I hear back from them.

Hmm... I thought it was an interesting item, and living in Europe, this deal was too interesting to let up. Bought two of them, one as a gift...

Wow... That item went fast. I wonder if they really did only sell the rest of the (rumoured) 2000 items produced. Seems like my order of two Swerve's might be in interesting investment in a couple of years time

Now, the shipping charges were obscene. I've just paid $21 to have a complete Armada Unicron shipped to the UK from the USA and the guy had to check the postage costs first so I know he's not making a loss.

I got a reply from the U.S. Chevy site:
"Because of international licensing agreements this item is not avaiable in
the US
Jim Meyer
ChevyMall - PontiacMall - GMPhotoStore"
Oh well so much for hoping

If it's any consolation, the figure is terribly ugly.

I like it being an ordinary everyday car. A perfect disguise.
Not some exotic super car.

and for that amount of money, you could get 3-4 better quality TFs out there.

That's true. The price made me think twice, then I decided to get it and it was sold out and I was gutted for missing it though. You always want what you can't have.

And I got mine in today! Too bad I didn't order more...

Anyone else ordered Swerve from Europe, (or even more specifically from the Netherlands), who hasn't yet received their item (or items, in my case)?
I ordered two Swerves, and they are still displayed in my order history, but so far no charges on my credit card and no package in the mail

I do know people who did receive their orders didn't get a confirmation mail of shipping (as promised in the first order mail), but still...
I've sent an e-mail to Chevy yesterday, but so far, no reply. I'm getting slightly worried
