Posted: Sat Mar 29, 2008 4:16 amIf it has a value of over a certain amount (I think it's £10 but I may be wrong) and customs inspect the package you'll have to pay £16.50 customs fee. Sometimes you'll get away with it and you've got yourself a bargain but when you get caught that fee is a nasty surprise. If you can get the seller to mark the package 'gift of low value' you should be able to avoid the customs fee.
