Alternators Meister

Is that figure really rare or something? I was looking at amazon and it's going for $50 and BigBadToyStore has it listed as $89.99 and sold out. There's a couple at a Meijer near here, should I get them and sell them on Amazon?

Welcome to Seibertron! I'll let someone else warn you about the nuts...

Didn't realize Meister was that expensive, either. This wouldn't be the old packaging, would it? Otherwise, he's pretty readily available....

By the way, greetings from a fellow Ohioan--I'm just outside Columbus.

Ok I'm not sure about the packaging actually. I'm just getting back into transformers. After seeing some of these Alternators at the local stores I had to buy some and after getting my hands on one I want them all. Also I always check Amazon and Ebay for deals so I noticed Meister was going for quite a bit. What are the differences between the old and new packaging?

Thanks for the warm welcome, Midwest love.

I have a Binaltech one but bought an alternator Meister and got it in the mail yesterday. I bought it to put the reprolabels on so he'd really look like Jazz. I was going to direct you to Toywiz.com were I got mine for $18.99 but it appears they are out and I have no idea if they will be getting more. Your next best place to try is going to be ebay. You can get a reasonably priced MISB for about $20-$30 range in the buy it now or if you want to try your hand at an auction, you might find it cheaper.

Oh I've already got a Meister/Jazz. I bought it in a retail store for $20. There are three more and I was wondering if they really are that rare, and wheather or not I should go buy them and sell them on Amazon for $50. But I was also thinking about getting another one to put the reprolabels on to jazz it up a bit.

also make sure that the auction/site you are looking at isnt the BT version. A lot of auctioners list as alternator/binaltech and then clarify which in the actual description. I dont believe the alt ver. is incredibly rare however the white BT ver. is typically around $89+ and the red ver. is only slightly cheaper.

Yup, Gutter Bunny is correct. The Binaltech version of Meister sells for $80-100. The Alternator Jazz should be much less.

Every Meijer around here has at least 3 if not more.

In some ways, that'd be quite fortunate.

So your saying that in an English TRU, there are Alternator Meisters?

What TRU would this be? Cos I may have to go pick one up when the right money comes in.

I got the Binaltech Meister about two and a half years ago, then at the beginning of 2005 I picked up the red version as well. That was a real difficult one to get, but it was damn sure worth it!
