Ebay seller 'jennyni1984' is auctioning off an item that is front and center of many debates lately. Universe Sunstreaker mint in his carded package has been listed on Ebay, and has a nice starting price too, in case you were thinking of taking a shot at purchasing him.

I was wondering when the universe line would start showing up on ebay.

I like the packaging.

Oohoohoo! I might just buy him now! I still do not know why Hasbro had to NOT get the rights to Octane back, though...

Looks cool.

THe bot pic on the back eleviates alot of fears from previous mistransformed pics.

Now I know what to hunt for in about several months time.

I'm still not so sure. The image on the back of the box is almost always a more detailed prototype or 2-up of the released figure. I'm still worried that Sunstreaker is going to look like crap.

More money that I need to set aside for TFs! Such is life

Now I know what the Universe packaging looks like. It'll make hunting for it easier.

Beautiful. I'm tempted to buy more than 1 of each, just because the packaging is so nice.

Why do people buy these off ebay anyway? To have it "first"? So silly. Save your money, wait til it hits retail and get it.

Hmmm.. Me thinks I'll just hold onto that listed $30 starting bid and what ever they want for shipping and just pick up a couple of these figures when they come out.

Looks like they went with the cheapie yellow plastic. You can tell by the way the painted roof contrasts with the ret of the body. The one shown previously seemed painted completely, or at least made of a more opaque plastic. I'll get him either way, but i'm disappointed and concerned about the rest of the line. I miss alternators.

Remember, just because it is in its box doesn’t mean its not a prototype. Also, it previously looked painted because it probably was, all we have seen till now have been painted prototypes as far as I know.

That plastic is the same reason contemplated not doing Alt Sunstreaker in the first place. Mind you I think it looks better then I thought it would.

You know... this is the first time I've noticed his gun doesn't transform from the duel intakes or is that just for Sideswipe?

Whoa, Universe is still what, 6 months away and they're on Ebay?

Sunstreaker looks very nice in package, it's going to suck sitting through the Animated line to get to these.

Yeah, be nice if they released it with Animated so that way those of us who don’t like Playschool Transformers have something to buy.

I can't wait to get the Universe figures but that will be the day i pay an arm an a leg for a figure from China on ebay to get it early. I'll wait and pay $10.00 when they come out instead of $75+!

The picture of the yellow Sunstreaker on the back of the package looks a lot better than the one in the package. There is something about that yellow plastic that doesn't look right. Perhaps Takara will redo this one in a nicer yellow.

Tempting but I will wait until it comes out in stores when the figures are much cheaper.
