i just got my animated bulkhead off a seller on ebay from japan, everything was fine he was new but without packaging. i'd seen a vid on youtube on how to transform him so i started but that when i hit the problem which totally annoyed me. as i openned his back doors so to speak he only had 4 fingers :-x. the seller i got him from says this is straight outta the factory so i dunno whether someone just overlooked they were missing or what. but anyways i emailed him and he said to email a photo of the problem to him which i have but he hasn't recieved it yet and he'd sort it out. so i just gotta wait and see what happens but i was wondering if any one else has had this kinda problem. heres a pic of what i mean

Do any of the other fingers fall off easily? If it is a pre-production figure (which I‘m pretty sure it is) some parts may fall off easily. Did you look in the box it was mailed to you in? perhaps the fingers fell off in transit.

You should rename your topic "I got unlucky buying off of Ebay" There is nothing wrong with animated bulkhead.

You bought a loose possibly stolen pre production piece. Buyer beware. There is a reason it's preproduction. Should have waited for the Production piece in box and you probably would have payed less to boot.

You live you learn.

Moral of the Story kids? Beware what you buy form ebay, specially if its something that hasn't actually been released.

I agree probably a test-shot or preproducti0on sample. Which are likely to have defects the final toys won't. If the seller can actually send you another one with fingers then you're lucky otherwise, since its not an actual release version you might have to settle for it without fingers.

I don't understand buying preproduction units for so much money when the factory ones will be out soon. And honestly, what do you expect when you buy stolen property?

By what justafacation do you have to call it "stolen?" Thats a pretty hasrsh statement in my opinion.

Well the factory doesn't just hand them out for workers to sell. Back on topic, sorry to hear about your bad luck.

I would like to know how a seller in Japan got this straight from the factory. They haven't made Transformers in Japan for years. Everything comes from China nowadays, and Takara doesn't have this slated to release in Japan.

Perhaps he bought it and then tried to resell it?

You get what you paid for.

When you buy gray-market or black-market goods, you give up your right to complain about your purchase.

Consider it a lesson learned.

Well, I got no problem with my Bulkhead's sample, but I did have a problem with Starscream.

My SS came without the front blue landing gear wheel and the landing gear was crumpled as can be seen here:

http://superbox.com.br/blog/starscreamdamage.jpg

I knew this could happen when buying something unofficially sold, but I complained anyway because the seller said it was new and perfect and he has to stick to what he said.

I don't care if he stole it or not, but I do care to buy what is promised in the auction.

I'm waiting for his response. He said he could send me a wheel to make it complete. If he does that, I'll be ok with him.

What seller have you bought it from?

Also, to people who say it's stolen from factory, what do you have to say about the MISB ones that are popping quite often now on eBay?

Dan

I wonder how the seller is going to get you another wheel...sounds like another five finger discount :P

Are you referring to Knock Offs? - I despise them.

Those are probably stolen too, do you know where to buy these toys at the moment?

He can send me a wheel very cheap. Just put it in an envelope and send it.

Where he's gonna get it? Well, I guess he can take it off another SS toy. I don't care what he does, as long as he does.

And I'm refering to the MISB Animated toys that are on eBay. I bought two of them (BBBee and SS) and they are not KO by any stretch.

Are they the so-called dealer samples? Or did they get stolen from the factory as well? That's what I'm asking.

Well for starters the pic provided for Bulkhead does not say anywhere "not for sale." For seconds prototype stuff is always sold off or given away from the factories. I have quite a few "prototype" desert storm cards from 12 years ago that sold from Topps. Sorry but your "theft" of an autobot doesnt stand to well with me. What did the guy do get a job at Hasbro in Tawain and get the piece out 1 at a time?

I think there was a country song about that stealing a car part 1 at a time untill the car was built :-?

To dans question i got it from "charmlove086" who has a large section of animated toys for sale. i only paid £19 including shipping for it and thats cheaper then when it will be released. plus no where on it does it say NOT FOR SALE. and i truely couldn't care how he came by these toys so early before there released but anyway i got an email back from him saying he'll post the missing fingers and is sorry for the mistake. and i brought a MISB animated Starscream few weeks bk now from another seller on ebay and that didn't say NOT FOR SALE on it either and was no preproduction, that was final finished version with box and everything.
now the seller who i got bulkhead from i intend to get bumblebee from too and for all we know, hasbro has already made thousands of animated toys and are just waiting til the movie line sells out before release. i've seen animated grimlocks on ebay now too for about £30. so some are leaking out, if you can't wait til summer time get them now :P
