Edit: It looks like a Merkavah Tank sort of. At least in its layout and at the side of its turret.

Yep that is what the new classics version of Galvatron will look like.

I don't think I've seen those pics before. He looks really nice. Have to add him to my list of must-get universe figs.

The pictures debuted at the Toyfair in New York, I believe. I think Ryan took a whole series of pictures for the Universe/Classics 2.0 while he attended.

A great-looking homage, to be sure. It's just unfortunate that he's dinky-sized...

Nope no Warpath, at least not for the first 2 or 3 waves.
Maybe later on in the line. For now you'll have to settle for All Spark Power Movie Warpath.

I still think Powerglide and Galvatron should have been swapped on the size list.

It would make more sense and look a lot better in the collection.

It's sweet that he's inspired by the Merkava, one of the few pieces of modern armour that fascinates me.

But I'm sad the "Classics 2.0 tank" didn't trun out to be Warpath, I always loved his gun barrel chest and I think he is due a Classics Deluxe at least.
