Ebay seller minmeiiloveyou has put up a auction for a boxed Transformers Movie Blackout figure. This time we get all angles of the box and a glimpse of his Bio.
BLACKOUT is the largest of the DECEPTICONS. Most often seen looking silently over the right shoulder of Megatron. He is his leaders hound. He pursues any target he is given with relentless efficiency, allowing nothing to stop him on his task. Those who defy him beware his raage knows no bounds. He will fill the air with fire and burn the land clear to take his revenge. Paired with his minion SCORPONOK. He is a dangerous and deadly foe.

Nice. Its funny, Blackout looks like a Predator and hes being displayed with a Predator. I have that AVP set. Its displayed with my boxed TFS. When are these figures gonna hit stores? or at least Hasbrotoyshop.com?

While I'm still not absolutely crazy about the CGI head, I must say that the toy head is much better. I am excited about this character more than any other in the movie. The toy is easily the best in the line. Seriously looking forward to this one.
Just when I thought it'd be a slow toy news day.

Originally the Movie Toyline release date was supose to be June 2nd, but they maybe moving this up a bit. The Protoform sneak peek figures were supose to come out May 2nd, but they seem to be getting released early. So who knows now.

This version looks much better than the first one shown a long time ago that had the helicopter blade nearly clipping the ground.

Blackout is Hard Core. Can't wait to see him in action. As a 'new character' his survival potential isn't high, but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for the big chap.

His survival odds aren't improved by the back set picture of scorched Blackout-parts piled in a corner with other props.

I saw CBs pics of blackout recently and I thought he was a pretty cool movie toy. I just don't like the bot mode or the movie packaging myself

After reading that bio, doesn't it make you think that Blackout was originally Soundwave? Megatron's Hound, standing over his shoulder, with his minion he ejects . . . Hmm. I do remember an OLD rumor that said soundwave was a helecopter. Thoughts?

Colour scheme (including yellow around windows). Popout minion. Function and loyalty. Sounds like Soundwave to me.

Yep, I think you hit this one right on the nose! Glad they didn't make him Soundwave though. Hopefully they truly will "do him right" in one of the sequels. Like this toy though! So, if Blackout is the biggest Decepticon, then none of the city-formers or gestalts exist on Cybertron in this continuity?

Thanks, I was kind of wondering about this myself. I still need to watch that movie. -.-
Scorponok mini-figure doesn't transform, huh? I'm sure I've asked before, I'm just curious.
I'm looking forward to this one.

Definitely a must have...But I will be getting the autobots first...Also I agree with wildfire405, he does sound a lot like Soundwave... Only if he "ejected" Frenzy not Scorponok that would be closer to G1 Soundwave.
