Update 4/5/08 - I can confirm that the figures are out at retail. You may have to use the DCPI number to get them from the back in some stores. The original street date for the figs is 4/13.

original post:
I've seen numerous ebay postings for the Target exclusive Bumblebee, Jazz, Barricade and Brawl figs. Can anyone confirm actual sightings in the stores? Does anyone here know the DCPI number?

They are up for PreOrder at HasbroToyShop. But I've seen nothing retail yet.

Alot of ways to get a preissued fig though. Amazing what can fall off the back of a truck.

I actually picked up Jazz, Brawl, and Barricade Thursday at a Target but no BB. I check two other Targets in my area and not even a hint that they had them. I think the Target I got them at put them out early or something

I saw all 4 at the Golf Mill Target in northwest of Chicago along with the GiJoe vehicles and the Star Wars exclusives. I actually passed on all 4 of these. I thought the blue looked gawdy in the official pics on transformers.com and thought the same in person. I own enough of these characters to actually be able to pass on some new toys for the first time in quite a while.

I agree the blue is gawdy. I'm passing too, but does this mean there will now be US released Transformers NOT in the Seibertron collection? :)

I can confirm Brawl, Jazz, Barricade and Bumbleebee in the Waco Target. They really aren't all that special, EXCEPT that Barricade's paint is MUCH more movie accurate than his "Recon version". Sure Frenzy is red and robot mode has some hideous bright blue, but if you're mainly in it to get the car mode, it is totally worth the ten spot. Its kind of a pain to transform to car mode, but this is what you get:

If you want to pick them up, don't look in the Transformers section of the toy department, they won't be there this week, they'll be by the check lanes for a while, at least at most Targets (Thanks Primus I work stocking). If you don't see them, ask someone with a name tag, especially if you see them with a holster or a box cutter, those are the people who know what's been stocked for the most part.

And just for fun:
Barricade UPC: 6 5356930585 9

So what's different or improved from regular Barricade's alt mode? I can't see any difference aside from red Frenzy.

The only other Barricade I've seen was silver and purple with poor decals, so I count this as a major improvement, I'm fairly sure its a similar if not the same mould though.

They have a bunch of Allspark blue details added to them, basically.

Saw these today at the Target in Canton, MI, on Ford. There were no Barricades, but they had the other three. Jazz actually looks pretty decent, but Brawl looks hideous, BB is meh. I'll pick up Barricade when I see him next.

I actually managed to find these in the UK weeks ago (from a UK-based ebay seller).

Personally, I think the Allspark electric blue looks pretty snazzy, but it works best on Barricade and Brawl, I think.

And a red Frenzy's cool, too. Now we have grey, blue, red and black Frenzys, what colour is the Premium version going to be? Metallic silver?

Boy do I feel stupid. I checked the TFs in the Target I work at, nothing special. Then I rang these up for people and didn't even think to check the back room! I guess I'll have to check when I go into work tomorrow...

I had to use the DCPI Jedi mind trick to get mine this past Friday and Saturday. According to the stock person they are due out next week in mass.

Look for an endcap by the front registers as opposed to the toy section.
