I can't wait to see how they look. There are a couple that look like they'll match really well with the cartoon cap you posted. It's cool that you have several though so you can work out which are going to look the best.

I too would love to see how these glasses turn out for Lander, they should look pretty good.

Thought I'd bump this old topic. I still never found anything for Pretender Landmine yet. The "glasses" that I bought 9 years ago in this topic (yikes!!!) weren't actually glasses, they were printed out on clear transparencies and you had to cut them out with an exact-o knife. Not what I had in mind. I get the bug every once in a while to look for this, I was inspired by some of the new style glasses that the new line of Barbies have that I saw in Target today so I thought I'd look on eBay again. I wonder if the 1/6 Hot Toys sized glasses would fit on Landmine's head? His glasses look so generic in Masterforce that it seems so weird to me that I can't find toy glasses that have rectangular shaped lenses with black rims. The lenses can be transparent or blue. If they're transparent, they could be colored with a light blue sharpie or something to obtain the colored look, though sometimes he is shown with plain clear lenses.

If these had thinner frames, they might be OK candidates with some cellophane or transparencies used for lenses.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a very expensive option Ryan. I have two anime PVC figures. Queen's blade Cattleya (MegaHouse) figure and Ane to Boin Rurith Hanamaru (Daiki Kougyo). Both figures have the option to wear spectacles. The spectacles use are very thin folding type (only once) metal frames. Though their's are the rounded type and not the rectagular ones used used by Lander.

I can't post a link owing to their "risque" nature.Try googling the image and judge and check some pre owned or even KO versions of them. You might be able to use the glasses.

Ryan - I have lots of modelling experience. I could perhaps make a custom set from brass wire and clear plastic - then paint the frames black.

You might have to wait a few weeks, though - about 6, to be exact.

Thought I'd bump my 12 year old topic looking for rectangular glasses for Masterforce Lander (aka Pretender Landmine). Anyone have any suggestions? My kids and I have Masterforce on right now and I always think of my long 15 year hunt for glasses for Lander!

Have you considered 3D printing? Something that small should be *relatively* cheap to print, and if you get it in black plastic, you won't even need to paint it. And if you actually HAVE a 3D printer, you're effectively spending literal pennies on it.
