Hi All

I was wondering if anyone out there (in Australia or who knows about this kind of thing) has an iPod Convoy, and if so what kind of adapter specifications should I look for if I want to power mine.

I did the stupid thing of asking the guy at the electronics store and blew the original adapter so now I need a new one not just a Aus/converter.

Lucky for me I didn't quite trust them enough to plug the speakers in right away and so the sizzling and popping was restricted to just the adapter.

I know nothing about electronics so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you are going to be able to find a replacement power cord for ipod convoy without re-ordering one from a japanese retailer.

As for an adapter to convert the power charger to work in Australian Power outlets, Tandy or Jaycar would certainly be the best bets to sell them, but even then they may need to order them in.

If worst comes to worse, you could always try a duty free style shop.
