There have been a number of new images of Transformers Movie Voyager Class Optimus Prime. Many of these images have shown different paint apps. Now we have just learned that there will be two versions of Voyager Class Optimus Prime released. The first one will be a general release. TFW2005 is reporting the second one will be released as a Target exclusive and will be called Robo-Vision Optimus Prime. This figure will have a metallic finish and more flames. Check out an picture of the figure by clicking here.

Last thing I would've done to the Movie Prime figure is add more Flames to his paint scheme.
Really doubt this one will find a release here in Australia, it isnt different enough to warrant sales from more than the completists and variant collecters.

Much nicer than the standard Voyager Optimus. The metallic finish is exactly what it needed.

I like this better than the standard voyager Opimus. I think the fact that this one's packaged in robot mode's helping too.

Anyone else spot the little tag about the "robovision decoder"?
Looks like the movie is bringing backe at least one oooooold gimmick from G1.

I like this better than the standard version as well, but I still like the leader class Prime a whole lot more.

I didn't see it at first, but got scrolling through the picture's thread and someone pointed it out there, too.

I don't have enough swear words to express how angry I am. For those not in the know, I swear like a drunk trucker in both English and Portuguese. I'm not mad at how it looks, I'm mad at that dreadful Target symbol. I hate Target exclusives with a passion because there aren't Targets in this icey crap hole.
I know, it's awfully shallow, but I am what I am.

OH. Originally someone claimed that the prototype had the darker blue, and the finished product was what we see here.
Truth be told, I kind of prefered the darker blue. I wonder if it's possible to swap the chrome silver parts and the dark blue parts into one figure...

I prefer the darker blue as well
As for swapping blues and chromes, should be possible. I imagine a screw driver should be all you would need, they would still be using phillip heads.

So if you want the toy to look more like the movie figure you have to buy the special edition. Yeah, cos thats what people want isnt it? A regular version which doenst look like the movie figure. Makes no sense.

So the much better variant of the toy will only be released in the US, while everyone else gets the bog-standard crappy (compared to this one) Prime?
Figures...

I misstyped. The movie-accurate figure is for the US only, meanwhile the everyone else (aka the vast majority of the planet) get one that isn't movie accurate? Where's the sense in that?

H-A-S-B-R-O.
It's their new marketing strategy: maximise profit by not making toys available to those who'd buy them. In other words, increase profit figures by decreasing quantity of figures.
Go figure.

Leonardo, AUS's Jetfire situation says that by itself XD
It won't come here, TargetAUS sucks, but I do like it, alot.
