I got this baby about 5 years ago on Ebay. It's the same mold used for Omega Supreme but I'm not sure which version he is. He came with Mechabot-1 packaging and instructions but he is a different color scheme. This Version has alot of Chrome. It is still wrapped in plastic around the styrofoam.

Just wanted to share with everyone and get your thoughts :grin:

But anyway, yeah, that's the toy in its origanal form, before Hasbro bought the rights to use the mold in transformers.

Since then Tomy absorbed the comapany that made this, and then tomy absorbed Takara, hence why Takara now have the rights to reissue this, without having to buy them off of someone else.

And seriously, take it out and play with it!

Looks pretty sweet to me. I wouldn't mind having one, love all the chrome.

I payed close to $100 for him

The only version I have ever owned, though I have the Encore version pre-ordered

if this is the original pre-transformer version of Omega, chances are it's worth a bit more than the $100 you paid for it. Especially in mint sealed form.

I really liked the look of this so I did some research and it appears this version is a Taiwan KO. The original Mechabot-1 is a dark gray with red clips, and light gray tracks.

I'd still rock the KO version though.

Yeah I knew it wasn't the Mechabot-1 because of the colors, but I have always wondered about it's origins. I was hoping for a definite answer. I just don't know what to do with him. He's been hiding in my closet for quite a few years now.
