I've been away from the site and collecting transformers for a few months now.. what's this Premium line? who's in it and are they store exclusives?

They have slightly better paint apps and in some cases, a remold or two.
Premium Voyager Megatron (shiny) and Ratchet were Best Buy exclusives a few months ago, although a listing for Ratchet had appeared on Hasbro's online toy shop. I don't think it ever became listed as in stock.
All other Premium figures will see mainstream releases. Leader Prime has a more metallic paint scheme (like the Robovision Voyager version), makes the transforming sound, has a head remold and a cool retractable sword attachment.
Leader Megatron has a darker paint scheme (but not shiny like the Voyager version) and makes the transforming sound and has a slight head remold.
Voyager Ironhide, Blackout, Deluxe Barricade & 2008 Bumblebee will see a slightly better paint application and Bumblebee will come with his face shield. All mainstream

Thanks, now I wish I hadn't bought the original ones when they first came out.

Ya, I was kinda rushed there at the end. Jazz and Starscream are coming too, but Starscream will be a Target exclusive. The paint on Starscream is dark and I think the regular release is closer to the movie color.
The premiums are coming to stores very soon. Some have already been spotted and some of the online stores like BBTS have them.
I, too, wish I had known about the Premiums before buying the regular releases, but I'm over it. Leader Prime and Megatron are worth it.

Just my 2 cents on the little that I've seen from the "Premium" line:
Leader Megatron may be worth it, if you're a fan of that mold.
He's obviously better than the original even with the matte paints.
I may get him because I didn't ever get the first one, but only if the Animated line doesn't come out until the end of June like initially stated.
Leader Optimus is imo a joke. The new head looks worse than the first one... Seriously, it's baaaad. From what I could see, it seems less movie accurate.
The blade/sword doesn't look that cool, and should've been made with at least some semi-transparent plastic.
Better paint apps? Yeah, okay.
If I had the original, I definitely would NOT get this version.
In fact, I won't get him because I have Nightwatch, which imo is better than both.
I'm only really looking forward to Deep Space SS...
After that, I'm DONE with the Movie line.

I don't know about the others yet, but Premium Ironhide and Blackout are in some ways inferior to the originals. The windows on Ironhide look ridiculous and were fine to start with. Sure more paint apps are nice, but movie Ironhide didn't have a 'Bot symbol on his hood, like the Premium figure has.
Premium Blackout would've been sweet if not for the fact that the black arm/leg parts are now the same white as the hands of the original, making him look goofy. I'm not paying $20 for a "premium" version of a figure that I already have, if I have to repaint it. I can do that with the one I already own!
I'll reserve judgement on the rest until I see them, but as of right now, all of my TF money is going to Animated.

I am so glad that i did not grab megatron the first time arround. I did not like the fact that he had pink on him. I am definitely buying him this time around.

Leader Megatron, Voyager Megatron, Voyager Ratchet, Leader Prime in Premium are worth it. I like Primes head sculpt and sword.

Definitely picking up premium Bumblebee. The rest would need some convincing...
Seibertron Still Rocks.
