From http://pic.tf08.net/

We've got a bit of new information pertaining to official names and size class designations for Transformers Animated releases. This could easily all still be up for change until an official word from Hasbro or a distributor comes around.

Ultimate: Omega Supreme

Leader: Ultra Magnus

Voyager: Sentinel Prime
Wreck-Gar

Deluxe: Snarl
Swoop
Blurr
Blitzwing
Scavenger
Mixmaster

I am willing to bet we alreaddy know what OS's alt mode looks like, so we can probably extrapolate his robot mode from that (what object in the series has his same color scheme? hint hint). It looks like we have two Constructicons in there, which is cool. I wonder how many there will be in the end. I can't wait to see Blitzwing's toy and how it works.

It's about time we saw a listing for Blitzwing, though I'm surprised he's a deluxe figure. Considering his triple-changing and face flipping gimmicks, I would have thought he'd be in the Voyager class, at the very least.

Most lines have had characters which have not appeared in the show as toy characters. Sometimes as new molds but most often as repaints

Beast Wars perhaps had the most non-show characters appearing in the toy lines and animated seems to be storywise shaping up in a similar vein with a more developed but smaller cast than recent series.

Does anyone else think we are going to see some 'line filler' characters or do you think because of the 'villain of the week' format we will see every character from the show immortalized in plastic without repaints being needed to fill out the waves.

Also unrelated id love to know when soundwave will be coming out.

I am willing to bet that we won't see the same sort of non-show characterism that occurred with BW/BM, since the problem was associated with the fact the shows were CGI, not cel-drawn. That is the reason why we received Tigatron instead of Wolfang in the show, since Wolfang would have required producing an entirely new character model.

There is no reason for there to be non-show original mold characters in this series. We only saw characters like that in the Cybertron line because they were produced after the series had been animated.

Well Ultra Magnus is officially a Leader class figure.

Ultimate? Don't sound very promising to me. The last Ultimate figure we had was that horrible movie Bumblebee figure. I have a feeling Ultimate Optimus Prime is just Roll Out Prime. So Omega Supreme might not be so special either.

Well hopefully they'll get around to making an animated Arcee toy before they start filling the line with non-show toys.

I say this time they oughta skip doing non-show, and non-movie toys, and put that effort into doing more figures for the Universe/Classics line.

I thought that was fairly obvious - if you click on the link where it says Ultimate Optimus Prime, you get pictures of Roll Out Prime.

I think Omega Supreme could be different, because it'll be the main (possibly only)version of that character. With Roll Out Optimus and Ultimate Bumblebee, there's already so many versions of those characters that they had to gimmick them up to set them apart. Omega will probably have some electronics(above a certain class size, they all seem to), but I expect it'll be the definitive version of that character.

I suppose this should go up since it is rumors, even though the information has been kicked around for a bit. It's another layer to the overall picture until we know for sure.

I was hoping Blitzwing would be a Voyager considering he's a triple changer and is supposed to have the face gimmick. But I guess its not to be. I just hope the actual figure works out the 3 modes nicely and the 3 face gimmick is at least passable.

I'm kinda glad that Blitzwing is deluxe size. Lugnut doesn't look too tall and hopefully the two will be roughly the same size in robot mode.

Besides Astrotrain and Octane are deluxe sized too.

if they're having trouble fitting all the triple changing and face changing gimmicks into a deluxe Blitzwing, good luck coming up with the 'activator' version.

I had been thinking that myself. Hey the Ark looks a little like Omega Supreme.

All good news... Man, those of us who are interested in this line are going to be spending a ton of $$$.

I really wish they were making all of the Constructicons, just because other than Soundwave, they're my favorite Decepticon characters.

Blitzwing as a deluxe may end up working out like Lockdown. Lockdown is really tall when he is transformed into robot mode.

every thing seems reasonable EXCEPT THE FACT THAT THE CONSTRUCTICONS ARE ONLY TO BOTS THAT I ASSUME THEY DONT COMBINE INTO DEVASTATOR!!!!!!RAWR

I'm still cautiously optimistic on that one. They only list 2 waves of deluxes. The rest of the constructicons could be spread across subsequent waves.

I remember collecting G1 in the eighties, I remember usually seeing two, three at most separate constructicons for sale at any one time.

They only did that in G1. There's no cosmic law dictating that all Constructicons have to merge into Devastator. Animated is not G1, it has a totally different ethic and style to it. They might even have a robot called Devastator as a wrecking ball crane as a member of the sub-group, but not members merging into him, for example.
