Just a word of advice to anyone who owns / finds a copy of movie Overcast (the black/neon green repaint of the video game jet) - his nose cone is of a very very hard rubber, almost no give at all...
If you manage to get a hold of a copy of him I'd suggest keeping him away from the little ones...

Ugh.. I never thought by compensating for cheap plastic, Hasbro would use hard rubber. But alas, that is that fate of the Movie Toys.. and most likely the rest of the Tformers for years.

I thought your warning would be about his verrry loose arm. I like his hard nose. It's cool. Besides, his projectiles suck, so he should replace them.

Close your eye, Overcast. This won't be pleasant.

I thought the warning was going to be that Overcast is a total piece of crap.

Hard rubber? It's not even plastic at this point?
...
Didn't they do the same thing with Animated Bumblebee? I hear he's kinda rubbery all over.
I'm hoping it's just a cost cutting measure for the time being and not a permanent thing. That would be enough to get me to quit collecting them. I won't pay money for crap quality products.

Just so everyone knows most modern TF jets have rubber nosecones as a safety measure, Classics Seekers, I think the movie SS mold, Cybertron Thundercracker, ect.
Thanks for telling us though.

Thanks - that's the part I was having a hard time thinking of...
Most modern TF jets have a "softer" rubbery nosecone (ie, you can bend it)...
Overcast
doesn't. His will probably pop off faster than it'll bend (think old-school G1 strength rubber)

I think the Classics seekers have all plastic, at least Ramjet.
Movie SS has a rubber one, but I don't get it, a kid could still put its eye out with it if it tried, kids must be total retards today.

Ramjet is plastic but his nosecone is much more blunt than the SS mold, so when Jimmy goes on a stabbing rampage there may not as many casualties if its blunt!
Anyway, the Classics SS mold has a rubber/cheesy nosecone but the Cone heads don’t.

I believe rubber doesn't break.
Movie Legends Megatron is half rubber and it's annoying.
