Transformers you will NEVER want to get based on price

Although there are several Transformers that I swore I would never get and did, as seen on that brilliant post topic already floating around, what about over priced transformers that you have no interest in given the price?

For me it's the
Red Chevy
and Red Starscream

nothing to do with the color though.

Most anything from the original g1 line, unless i found a really good price on some combiners...

Pretty much any of the Lucky Draw figures. Those are the rarest of the rare and will cost you an arm and a leg.

I've learned to never say never to any TF's. There are some that would just take alot longer to save up for.

I forgot to say Fort Max, I think his size is great but where on Earth to put him and to pay 4 figures for something that apparently doesn't have good articulation, I just don't get it.

Oh and yes good call on G1 figures. No interest at the price.

Obviously the one hot topic has been the Botcon 2007 seekers. I did bite the bullet and bought Thrust, but that's it for me. No interest in paying over $200 for Thundercracker or even $100 for dirge, both being just repaints, complete collection or not.

It's all based of personal worth. I wouldn't shell out $100 bucks for Ultimate Bumblebee because I don't think it's worth it. But the lucky draw vacmetallized Rodimus Prime as the Spirit of Primus? I'd pay $2,500 easy. It's all about what you want and how far you'd go to get it.

Oh, and over $1,000 for Fort Max? I didn't spend that much on Fort, Brave and Grand combined!

Even though I want Leader Brawl and Prime I doubt I will ever get them because of the price.
Aside from Leader and Ultra class figures I don't think there are any TFs that I won't buy that I want due to price, just lack of money
If a TF is over $25 then I more then likely won't get it, with Wal-Mart Masterpiece and Universe Ultras being exceptions to that. What spending money I have I have to spread out through dvds, game, figures, and other items I might need.

I tend to avoid figures that go what I think way over price. Unfortunatly this means many of the G1 figures I want to get, like the Dinobots, Insecticons and such figures no matter how much I want them I just can't afford that money, now if I ever get a few hundred or thousand to blow, sure I'll grab them, but not which my current income. Now I have shelled out 100 or more on complete combiner sets in good condition and never looked back, but the single figures that go for just as much or more really put me off... I would love to have a complete G1 Dinobot set, but I don't want to pay that much.

When it comes to buying toys in retail stores I avoid mostly leader class figures, just way to much for me... though I am considering getting a Leader Brawl and Leader Animated Ultra Magnus when he comes out. For the most part I stick with Voyager and Deluxe sized figures, just good sized figures for the price I think.

Any of the BotCon exclusive stuff. They are too much, and I will not get them even the Seekers. $300 and up is just too much!

I love that mold. I've seriously been considering getting him.

The "limited" quantity TFs, like Lucky Draw or Botcon exclusives. No need for them

With the ridiculous prices non USA folk are forced to pay for figures, there are many figures I have not bought at full retail price, instead waiting patiently until I can get them much cheaper.

I will not pay $45 (about US$41) for Voyager Movie Starscream, when I can get him for closer to $30 then I may think about it.

I'm not rich, but I have a good job. A professional career. I can afford to buy what I want. If I like it, I will get it. Botcons, G1s, Leader class, all that.

What limits me is space and level of dedication. Space to put stuff is an obvious limitation. I also take a look at just how far I am going to go as a "collector". Will I be happy with the mix-matched figures across the lines, or am I going to go balls out with the whole shebang? Therefore I impose limits. The movie line - just figures that were in the movie. Beast Wars - show only characters. G1 - everything released in the USA. Armada - just Unicron. Energon and Cybertron - just figures I liked. No need to get them all.

Anything Lucky Draw, from Victory, or that ends with "Maximus"

As much as I want him, I can't justify spending the money on the Predaking giftset that was released a few years back.

Fort Max is also just too much for me.

I've always said I won't go over the Voyager line, but currently I have a Leader Brawl sitting downstairs waiting for me to decide on whether to keep him or return him. It was months before he suddenly caught my eye for some reason. I got five dollars off the full price, but that's not really much in the long run.

Then again, I just spent fifty bucks on Black Arcee, so I guess I'm a bit of a hypocrite in some regards.

Anything that's not worth the money, either physically or sentimentally. I buy mostly deluxes, maybe a few Voyagers if I like the mold. I usually stay away from Leaders, they just don't seem to have that quality the smaller figures have. I did get Cybertron Megatron, which was marked down 10 dollars. I paid a little bit more for a Cybertron Thunderblast I just had to have off Amazon, but the cost of shipping had risen that price.

I won't pay botcon of club-exclusive prices. I may go that high for select reissues, but that's it. I won't go that high for vintage pieces. And I don't buy many Masterpieces. Heck, the only reason I have Unicron, Primus, and the Energon Omegas is that I found them on clearance. I had no intention of buying them otherwise.

I'm really wanting Armarda Skywarp, I hate the Armarda line in general but this one figure looks great and he seems to be the last Skywarp to have lilac instead of the grapey purple he has these days.

I went looking for him and he's $80/90USD!

That's the price of a Encore Metroplex... can you guess which one I bought?

Also, alot of japanese repaints I really want but are just too much for what they are, examples are G1 Sunstorm, Crosscut, Black Rodimus and that Black Starscream(Which I'd almost kill for =P~).
