100

I've just won an auction for my 100th transformer! I know it's not many but it's still a landmark number. Actually, there are 102 but I'm not counting the two Energon Unicrons or two RiD Megatrons.
Today I won Classics Astrotrain for £8.80. As this figure didn't hit shops in the UK as the Movie line took over this item always goes for way over retail price. I think the reason I got this so cheap is because it was a USA auction and as $1 = £0.50 approx I'm automatically willing to pay almost double what the Americans will pay.
I like to spread good things out so I've got a few TFs boxed waiting to be openned later. When I actualy open my 100th figure I shall post pics of my collection, but for know here's a quick breakdown of what I've got:

G1
42 figures but three are missing parts or weapons but everything in great shape! As these are all the figures I got as a kid that's good going and one of them I found in a sandpit so the missing parts aren't my fault.

Here's what I've collected in the past year(ish):

Reissues (only the Soundwave pack)
Beast Wars
Beast Machines
RiD
Masterpiece
Alternators/Binaltech
Classics
Movie

Congratulations!

I remember when I hit 100 figures. I thought "thats enough" but I just got to 150. I am selective in what I buy though so I know my collection will never get HUGE.

Keep going, of course you have no choice now. Its become a compulsion. You might think you can kick it but its always there, even if you walk away for a year or two. :)

I'm very selective too. My girlfriend was worried when I started buying but I convinced her she doesn't need to be. Now she's started worrying again!

I'm well aware of that! I said there weren't any figures left I wanted to buy untill Classics 2.0 but when I put my shelves up I realised how pitiful my Beast collection looked so I started looking for the cartoon's main characters. Except Rhinox cos the toy sux.
But with 2.0 a few months away how can I stop at 100?!
