now i have some factory mistake tf's. this includes:
armada skywarp
universe ultramagnus ( repaint of armada prime )
movie arcee
skywarp is very interesting, the clip that holds one of the spring loaded engine/laser cannon is imposed. so it has two lefts instead of a right and left. so it pops up unexpectedly and fires
the mess up with magnus is the arm covers that slide down to reveal the hands in robot mode are upside down! so his freaking elbows cant move
arcees cross bow cannot attach to her arm for some reason, it keeps popping

any way its just for display.
but has this happened to anyone else? if so please discuss

I had the same problem with Universe Ultra Mags. Stupid elbows.
The worst one was the first Henkei Starscream. He had two right fists!

I was p*ssed! Do you think I could ignore that? Heck no. $25 down the drain! It's sitting in a box to be sold on ebay. I'll be lucky to get $10 for it b/c I'll have to call out the flaw so the buyer doesn't get hosed.

I have one...it is more of a broken part. The right arm of my original BTA Red Alert never stays on. So, I had to buy another one so that I make a custom Prowl..the 2nd one is fine but I was very mad

Transmetal 2 Megatrons had an error in the neck that made it impossible to pose his neck in any position other than the standard one. I don't recall the exact details (despite the fact that I own a TM2 Megs), but it has something to do with the rubber in the neck.

I think my first experience with a factory error was with my G1 Ultra Magnus I got back in '86; the gears of his left leg were out of place slightly, and I could never get him to stand up straight. But I was a kid and didn't really care much.
Now, as a collector, I do care. All my Cybertron figures are pretty much flawless. I had to do a little work on my Classics Jetfire's helmet guns because one side was really loose. My next project is cutting a piece of plastic and making the missing notch on the back of my Movie Leader OP's left leg.
Considering how many pieces go into making a Transformer, some error has to be expected once in a while. But getting two of the same hand is rough—sorry dude.

I got a reissue G1 Ultra Magnus with two left hands... I've since got hold of a right for him.

Okay, this one's minor, but still...
The back of the package for Scout class Armorhide says that his weapon has "firing projectile"...
Uhhhh, the weapon is one molded piece of plastic.

The first Concept Camaro Bumblebee I bought had his shoulder installed upside-down. I proply exchanged him for another one.
I also have a reissue Hoist figure who has a Decepticon rub sign.

I always expected to find that mistake but never have!

Care to elaborate?
I have two RiD Megatrons, one is missing parts and very scratched. The complete and perfect condition one has the sliding joint at the base of the thumb/tail the wrong way around. This means that when the tail is not locked into something (eg in robot mode where it hangs down his back) it can slip side to side. Not a problem really. It also means that the hand mode works best if you make it a left hand. I'm left handed, I love purple and dragons. He's perfect!

I've tried to look for movie packaging errors, but have found none. I was hoping for an Autobot/Decpticon card back switch.

My Alternators Nemesis Prime is missing the index finger on his right hand!
Darnit, one of the few times I actually get my hands on a special offer only figure and then...
Oh, well, he can still hold his gun in that hand and as long as he does so you can't see he's missing a finger.

wow, never herd of a finger missing.
i have a feeling that these tfs could be valuable. if you think of the post office when they make a mistake on a stamp, it worth sky rockets!

the worst problem I have had wasquality control during 2004.
I bought a brand new Universe R.I.D Optimus Prime form Sam's. I hadn't opene it for weeks, and it had that old brittle plastic, and the parts would not fit correctly like my orininal R.I.D Prime, or like my Fire Convoy. It sucked becuase I waited so long to track one down. I sold it on Ebay to a guy who wanted it more than I did.
Next was Powerlinx Oprimus Prime form Armada. I saw the final battel between him and Galvatron on the show, and I wanted one. Well it too had the same problem. Lopsided plastic, seemd rough and uneven. I was so mad I broke it. Worst was the fact that the colors for him weren't show correct.
Few things that were mior were either missing weapons, or missiles that don't fit, but I dony worry bout that.

Well, it dosen't look dameged, it will just give in and drop the Nullray.
Yes some of thease will fetch high prices, or so I expect, not the ones that are broken, just the ones that have something odd to them.
