i picked up stockade and the '74 camaro bumblebee from toys r us the other day.. which i was kinda shocked at.. i mean... '74 bumblebee.. now.. this week... i think i saw them around here once and that was before the movie came out!! lol..
anyway.. i digress... bumblebees fine.. working automorph and everything... but stockade.. i dunno if its just mine or all of them.. but his chest panel slides off quite easily :s is this normal? or has my luck with picking up perfect movie line figures run out?
if anyone else has stockade lemme know

I've had Stockade since it came out and never realised the chest panel could slide off!
The chest on mine fits quite snugly.
The Movie figures I have the most trouble with are Payload (the head, chest and front grille sections are all prone to pop off), FAB Ironhide (his roof keeps falling off), and the small coloured shoulder sections on the 08 Camaro mould.
Superglue is your friend!

The chest panel can slide off?
Wow... might have to get a second one and try to get that puppy off for a conversion...

i dont have payload or any of the FAB's... but the '08 bumblebees shoulder panels did the same thing to me.. every damn time i transformed it!!.. and as you well said.. superglue to the rescue.. lol

as for stockade.. heres a couple of bad pics of him without said chest panel...

It took a relatively considerable amount of tugging to get my chestplate off, and once it was popped back on it stayed nice and snug. I think you just got one that had weak tolerances.
I must be lucky - nearly 200 TF's, and so far the only one with any QC issues was my first Hi-Score (the automorph gimmick was so borked I decided to take it apart and repaint it completely as a Cybertronian land skimmer, using an alt xform I saw at TFans).

It slides off? *checks* Oh yeah, I guess it does. Mine's on there pretty snug. Just opened him up two days ago!

outside of some balance issues, I've had no problem with Stockade. As for 74 BB, the Walmart near me gets him in weekly.

I didn't even know that piece came off - mine's quite snug. I suppose you could try a coat of clear nail polish on those top slides to see if just a little more material will get it to stay.
My Stockade has one of his windshield panels go flying if I forget to hold it when I transform him.
Classic 'Bee has been appearing around here fairly often. I see a lot of the original wave (when I'd much rather be seeing new things).

So there is a good reason that Ryan took the picture I'm using as a sig
I have a few Movie line figures but I haven't opened any of them yet because I simply don't have the time @ home to mess with them... but every time I read another one of these threads about shoddy QC it makes me dread actually opening them cause god only knows what I'll find
