Interesting. So it seems that Blitzwing's jet mode wasn't mistransformed in the auction.

It also looks like he'll be taller than Lugnut, who, if I remember correctly, is a Voyager figure. Not bad... for a "deluxe" figure.

That crossed arms picture is badass.

Dude, wait... is he gonna have a voyager AND a deluxe sized figure? this is confusing. Lugnut is like standing in Blitzwing's shadow when it should be the other way around.

Totally rocks some serious afterburner , too bad I only collect G1 and Masterpieces as there's no money for all. But I'd choose Animated over the Movie for sure, they're doing an excelent job on the show and the figures, and it has a lot of G1 on it. Maybe I'll buy my favorites from the show, including this one.

Blitzwing has to be a Voyager according to those pics, or at least a Voyager sized Deluxe like Lockdown. I don't really care either way though now, it has great articulation, transformation and the jet mode looks much better in these pics.

All i got 2 said is that a lot of ppl will only display him in "Bot" mode only when they get him.

I think so too.

His tank and jet modes look like something out of Advance Wars.
I like the robot mode mucho though. There is no way that is a deluxe.

I like the tank concept. It's something new and different from previous tank bots. I will most likely get him for his robot and tank mode. He is badass.

Not without certain flaws, but I'll take it nonetheless.

The thing that bothers me the most is his upper legs. See if you can spot the problem here:



I'd happily take it over the 'Thundercracker' Movie Starscream repaint I picked up yesterday. Starscream also has a kibble-tastic jet mode. At least Blitzwing has an excuse.

I'm with Stryder here: Blitzwing is a DIB (Display In Botmode).

I mean seriously...
The alt modes are just not impressive.
The jet looks too tankish, and the tank looks too kibbled.

But the figure does look good in bot mode, I'll give it that.
Between the rather impressive-looking articulation (a la crossed arms) and the interchangeable faces... I might bite on Blitzwing after all.
If it's a Deluxe class, that is.
No way I'm dropping $20 just for a bot mode.

I'm going to have to disagree. I think the robot mode is weakest of the three. The vehicle modes feel very 'Advance Wars,' but I think that's why they work. Despite being war machines, they are still funny-looking and dare I say cute. I think the idea of a jet fighter with tank treads to be hilariously over-the-top (in a good way), and the tank mode sort of reminds me of a Cobra HISS Tank, so major points there as well.

That tank mode sucks. Every thing else is cool (excluding the 3 head thing) but its like they didnt put any work into the tank at all. Ill be keeping it in either jet or bot mode.

I still don’t like the jet very much and they could have done much better, but he might worm his way into my collection anyway.

Tank mode is my fave. I think it'll look best from front 3/4 view with the missiles left out.

This leads me to beleive there has to be a Leader class Lugnut sometime in the future. I mean, we have 2 autobot Leaders confirmed but only 1 decepticon.

Opinion has not changed from the last lot of pics.

Robot mode looks good. Everything else looks crap. And frankly putting him next go G1 Blitzwing makes me like the G1 mold even more. And it had some major faults!

Out of all the animated Decepticons, Blitzwing was my favorite. The only animated Autobots I'm liking is Prowl Jazz Ultra Magnus and *maybe* Ratchet. All of the Decepticons though I've liked so far, so I'd be spending more of my money on those ones.

Blitzwing is on the top of my list though. I like the tank and jet modes (though the jet mode is pushing it with those treds), and the robot mode looks awesome, plus the character is great, so the second I see him I'm buying him.

Also, would it kill people to forgive the way the jet mode looks? Yes it looks like crap, but look at the G1 Blitzwing, he's really not much better with a tank turret on the underside of the jet.

Which leads to a problem for me. I want Lugnut, badly. But I won't spend the dough on this one if we're getting one that's show accurate (size wise).

However, I look over at my shelf and see Movie Bonecrusher, I realize that this could be the only Lugnut figure we'll receive.

Although it does seem like we're finally getting a line that's show accurate through and through. Leader Class Bulkhead, Voyager Optimus, Deluxe Ratchet, Prowl and Bumblebee are all proof that we might get a Leader Class Lugnut at some point, but how long must we wait?

yea but G1 Tank mode got Animated version beat hands down

I not try 2 be bash ole Blitzes here but 4 his size i thank hasbro could have did a lot better on designing his Alt modes.
He could have made his treads slimer since they not real anyway and they could have tuck under real easy in either mode bbut hell 96.5% of us r going 2 still buy him anyway and Keep him display in Bot or "Gun Turret" mode anyway

The plane mode looks lame with the tank treads. Does Blitzwing's plane mode have treads in the cartoon?
